An Online Pass - Which is all that this is - is going to be standard in about 2 years I bet, and it's been present the last year at least, so why the big fuss?
There is no reason at all this will hurt Battlefield 3 sales as much as some people on here say it will. C'mon people..

I'd say the average 360/PS3 owner do the exact same thing on each of their titles. Except now they wouldn't have to deal with BS timed exclusives & DLC.
On top of that think of the backlog of titles we'd have available to ALL gamers. Halo, Uncharted, Gears, God of War, all on one console. Not to mention it would undoubtedly lead the way in terms of Indie development. The connectivity of XBL with the ease of XMB.
Nintendo has kind of reinvented...

I still feel like the PS3 has a few solid years left at least. Agent (if it still exists) and Last Guardian are both a year + away, and those are some pretty big titles.
As for the Move, it's an accessory. And there still hasn't really been a killer title out for it yet. What will happen if they ever make a Star Wars game? If it was PS3 exclusive, I guarantee retailers would be sold out for months.

We (I work at Best Buy) price match any store, at all times. So this isn't just for the Toys R Us deal. The only thing management tends not to price match are online only offers or smaller sites.

It should allow you to switch back and forth from 2D-3D. I guess it is a "3D Monitor" though, so who knows. Almost guarantee you'll have the option though
And as much as I want to see it too, I just don't think it's going to happen. If anything I think we'd see Apple enter the industry with a console before SEGA comes back, and that also is pretty doubtful, as of now.

And just because Sony's releasing their new handheld this E3 doesn't make it exactly like Nintendo's. Especially since aside from 3D, DStore, Street Pass, and a few other small features, its the EXACT same handheld with sub par graphics like the 5 other iterations.

Just that they definitely didn't steam roll Sony or Microsoft for a lead, if they won at all. I do think Sony had the best showing, in terms of hardware (Move) the lineup, which has pretty much stayed the same.
Compare last years E3 keynote to now. The 3DS isn't exactly doing so hot...Wii sales are leveling out hard, and the biggest game I want to see from them is Skyward Sword.

Uh, when was the last good Nintendo E3 conference anyones seen? Because it hasn't been the last 2-3 years at all. Possibly even further if you didn't fall for the Wii hype.
I think Sony has the most to prove, while Nintendo might have the best showcase w/ Cafe, and Microsoft with a chance to take the crown if they show the future Kinect potential we all know it has.
But every year I say Microsoft will have a great show and they never seem to kill it...
I think Sony knows just how much the Metal Gear brand means to the PlayStation name. I wouldn't be surprised if they did announce MGS5 as both a PS3/Vita title to put Vita & Transfarring on the map.
There's a small chance we could still hear something at E3. Though I think TGS would be a better venue to announce something like this. It would make a big impact on the Japanese community.

Gonna be honest here. Never played the 2nd one. Little of the first, the 3rd and MGS4. For some reason just never got around to it.

Max out at 60 htz though, so there are some things to look out for if you want to take advantage of certain features your TV may have.
I agree for the most part though, they are way overpriced, and if you don't need all the bells and whistles then get the cheapest one you can find
