Let's not forget he mentioned that they are running @ 1080p/60fps and it does have dedicated servers. This is contrary to popular FUD being spread that PSN doesn't have dedicated servers.
Then why are you here?
but as long as they were able to lcok in the framerate, I think it was an acceptable trade off.
Funny thing is I had an Xbox 360 only for Halo 4 and Gears of War 3. Like so many other, the moment I heard that price, I packed it up. Moments later I'm walking out of Gamestop without a Xbox and a reserve for a PS4. I didn't care because Ps3 was my primary console anyway.
a couple of days ago. I need to buy the season pass though. I have some friends also picking up Battlefield 4 on PS4. Decisions....decisions.
Nope, not in the least. I'll be getting a PS4 and a tier3 Steambox aka "SteamMachine". Picking up a Vita early next year.
Yeah I'm having a hard time understanding why he received so many disagrees for this statement. Must be the same people basking in the "PS4 fails"/"HDCP Youtube" articles.
there are European markets where Xbox isn't even launching until next year. Microsoft is only launching in 13 markets while Sony is launching in 32 markets.
Crazy but what do you expect? This is a Rockstar game. Watchdogs has alot to live up to. I heard GTA online hasn't even launched yet too.
Called it
If I'm just sharing gameplay, I can click the the "share" button. I can also upload them to twitter/facebook/youtube. I can guarantee you we will see, day one, Ps4 videos on youtube captured via capture card because there is a HDCP bypass for it.

Total cost for this workaround is like $63 but beats having to buy another capture...
He doesn't address why he overreacted to the HDCP. Adam used to be one of the few guys I liked, but after his twitter meltdown over HDCP, IDK. I still going to follow his reviews because he's one of the better reviewers in the industry.
Though even after Sony confirmed Game capture via Capture card @ their SCEJA press conference, he was still skeptical.

that I'm going to be one of those proud owners come this November 15th. I'll have my physical copy of Killzone: Shadow Fall and Watch Dogs. As for digital : Secret Poncho, Outlast, Driveclub, Resogun, Planetside 2, Warframe, and Blacklight: Retribution.
just wow.
the guy who's passing out disagrees is the same guy who's submitting the article.
(Sigh)
"Now, to be fair, this kind of mishap isn’t exactly too rare on a show floor, where radio interference is rampant and devices fail often..."

already. Given all the wireless, in-fared signals being bounced around in there, the controller experienced a pairing problem. This had nothing to do with the hardware itself. The "journalist", and I use that term loosely, should have done a slightly more thorough investigation of the matter. The fact that this is worst thing to happen to the ps4 after 5 trade shows speaks volumes to me.
Is this confirmed to be running on actual hardware?
@ Skips,
you made a claim and backed it up evidence supporting it. Not that you need anymore but bubble of for "intelligence". Hard fact are a rare commodity on the internet.
You guys have seen my post so it's safe to say what camp I'm in. But let's be honest Microsoft wouldn't have gotten a pass like this if it happened to them. Well it doesn't matter because if a Xbox One crashes and nobody in japan is around to hear it, does it really matter?
Which on current gen consoles, not every title had a digital counterpart. As far a gross income, consoles still dominate PC by a heavy margin. To completely ignore physical based copies, which is the main medium current gen supported is ignorant. If PC was a lucrative as Hitman0769(poster of this article) suggest, Valve wouldn't be releasing a "Steammachine" for the living room. It can be played with mouse and keyboard but it's better suited for a gamepad. That sounds alot l...
