I completely agree, the Wii U has plenty of unique gems you can't find anywhere else. Also their local multiplayer games reign supreme with the gamepad having it's own screen. My launch day PS4 rarely ever get turned on an that's the truth, there just aren't any games worth playing on it at the moment. My WiiU and 3ds have made me a very happy gamer.
Are you poor, and can't afford another console, or did you swear your loyalty to a different corporation?
If PS+ is "soooo amazing" then why does Sony have to hold online multiplayer hostage behind its paywall? If it was so amazing as you say then consumers would still buy it without having their online multiplayer held hostage.
A pretty weak list IMHO save for a few titles.
The games looks to have an online multi player aspect to it. My kids have their own WiiU in their room so it looks like I'll be buy two copies lol. For me gaming with the wife and kids is part of the fun. 😄
My hype-levels is over 9000 for this game.
Played what? The PS3 had GTA5, Bioshock Infinite, The Last of Us, Beyond Two Souls plus more. What games have you been playing on the PS4 that you couldn't play on the PS3? I'm legitimately confused here.
I like Sony, but to be perfectly honest those who are waiting for consoles aren't missing much except perhaps relief from the launch hype. I got mine launch day and the longest I've had it on was for the setup, update and maybe an hour for AC4 which could be played on the PS3. I'm not hating on the PS4 it's just at the moment the games aren't there yet, so those who are waiting aren't missing anything.
I have fourteen games on the WiiU and only two of them are Mario games, do the math. Also I've spent $400.00 on a PS4 with no games, but I know there will be some games coming.
Yeah I totally agree, I think last years January Direct was a bit knee jerk response from the third party abandonment. Nintendo had to reasure fans great content was on the, but it would just take some time. It's very rare that Nintendo would show their hand like that so far from actual release. I don't know exactly what Retro has in store but I can assure you the announcement will be epic.
I have WiiU games coming out of my ears. I could understand the "no games" comments when the WiiU launched, but now that couldn't be further from the truth. Not only does the WiiU have games now they also have a good number of great exclusives with more on the way. Granted the WiiU is lacking in the dudebro department with the exception of COD, but it more than makes up for it with games my entire family enjoys playing together with.
I will 100% agree with you in that the 3rd parties are making a conscious effort to exclude the WiiU. Greedy publishers have gotten used to the money hatting that started with the Xbox and was adopted by the PlayStation. Nintendo first party content is too strong to be bullied by third party publishers and the publishers know it. EA has been going out of its way sabotage the WiiU since launch, but was caught with egg on it's face after the Xbox had to backdown on DRM and they released bro...
You mean how EA just tried to DRM to death the Xbox One or how third party publishers like to release broken games that need a month or more of patches after release in order to work as advertised. Need I go on?
The only games third party publishers actually sale are; COD Series, BF4 series, GTA, AC, Fallout and Elder Scrolls. I may have missed a couple but not much. All other "AAA" games either bankrupts are nearly bankrupts the company that makes them, because of the combined 160,000,000 PS3/360 owners worldwide not even 5% of them buy the games. That being said, the only franchise Konami has that actually makes money is the Metal Gear Series. They can hype up games all day long and exclu...
Nintendo knows the video game industry very well after all they're the ones that pulled the video game industry from the ashes. Nintendo does have some third party support, but they will not money hat third party publishers for multi plats. The Wii U is in its second year, there is plenty of content coming. And finally the WiiU does have online and it's free.
Yeah, with a name like "fool.com" can you really expect anything other than baseless drivel and trolling. Nintendo stock has been on a steady climb, so I'm guessing smart investors don't read fool.com
Yeah, I can see why Sega dropped out of the console business, they have no idea how to make money.
Since when have third parties not been lazy? They can't even release games that aren't broken on their console of choice ala BF4. I'm not saying that is the case for Slightly Mad Studios, I would love to see them deliver on their expectations.
I constantly hear people clammering about the PS4 not being released in Japan yet, as if the sky will split harkening it's arrival. There seems to be some kinks in that armor, and I'll explain why: the PS4 is getting a late release in Japan effectively snubbing its home country, secondly where are the games that appeal to Japanese gamers? I would say every game on the PS4 currently appeals to a starkly western audience with maybe the exception of Resogun, effectively shunning Japan i...
The WiiU could dominate the market and you will still have obtuse people saying Nintendo should drop the WiiU.
Just because someone doesn't prefer to play the PS4 over their WiiU at the moment doesn't mean their PS4 is imaginary. The simple truth of the matter is there aren't any compelling games on the PS4 as of right now, considering it just launched about 2 months ago. And like most gamers, I would assume he pre-ordered early in order to avoid the hassle of waiting for shipments and replenished stocks. I also have a PS4 with little reason to play it at the moment. Saying that does not m...
