I'm with you, if 3rd party publishers wanted my money they would act like it instead of giving me the middle finger. I have no problem waiting for the bugs and glitches to be patched out, and buying it for the PS4 used for $20. As a multiconsole owner my hard earned dollars won't be held hostage by unethical publishers.
It's funny that playstation fans cry and moan about parity, while at the same time find it okay that Wii U ports are stripped of content, released late and completely un-optimized.
@wonderfulmonkeyman no worries mate
"Mario Kart is an excellent racing game, but not serious enough to compete with what Sony and Microsoft offer in the racing genre! "
I play games to have fun, I leave the seriousness to business and life
Smash Bros running at 1080p/60fps doesn't sound underpowered to me. And what Bayonetta loses in not being "more cinematic" it makes up with its awesome sexy frames per second.
So far this gen the PS4 has been the Justin Bieber of game consoles, all hype no substance. And this is coming from someone who had a PS4 since launch.
And pretty much anyone who disagrees with my opinion are no different than all the Bieber fever fangirls who gets upset whenever someone doesn't like Bieber.
I hope Sony actually delivers on their "Greatness Awaits" because I've been awaiting for a long time.
Get's hyped
My PS4 runs the Amazon Prime app okay, plus if it freezes I can just kill the app without having to shut the system down, so that's something.
I don't know about PS4 exclusives, I don't think Sony can afford it. That's why Sony has focussed so heavily on multiplats and indies. I wouldn't be suprised If Sony ended needing a government bailout from Japan.
The Wii U is my main console and hopefully once Phantom Pain comes out, I'll have something to play in my PS4.
I'm buying the digital version and the disk because I'm a boss.
I think Sony and/or Microsoft pay third parties to gimp the Wii U version or ignore it outright. With both companies paying for timed exclusives and dlc for multiplats, it's not hard to imagine them paying 3rd parties to starve the Wii U of third party content. Indies on the other hand aren't in bed with Sony/MS so they have more freedom. I think the Wii U if properly utilized could run a version of Destiny very close to the PS4 version and I don't think that's something Sony ...
Same here, it is by far the most played game on my PS4. It would be nice if they brought to the Wii U since I would buy it again for the item and base management with the Gamepad.
Well said. The pattern I've been seeing with most multiplats is purposely delaying or gimping the Wii U version. I know MS and Sony pay for timed dlc and skins, it would not surprise me if they were also paying to sabotage Wii U ports. It just doesn't make business sense to sabotage sales of your own game unless you were getting paid elsewhere. At this rate Project Cars is guaranteed D.O.A.
Nintendo actually makes money off their first party content, where Yoshida admitted only 4/10 of their games actually make any money. Third party studios will go bankrupt trying to ignore Nintendo and I have a feeling this will be the last game anyone see's from Slightly Mad Studios. Nintendo knows money hatting a multiplatform game is a horrible business practice that MS and Sony platforms are forced to do because of their weak first party offerings. There is no need for Nintendo to fol...
My PS4 is my secondary console to my Wii U. Being married with kids I can really appreciate Nintendo's "everyone's" approach. It's in no way a knock to Sony or MS, but a lot of their content is geared towards single men, which isn't bad it's just a different demographic.
Quite the accomplishent for Nintendo to score so high among the IGN fanbase.
I'm apologize, I should have put sarcasm at the end of my statement.
Let me guess Nintendo plans to spend their billions in the bank on timed exclusive DLC for multiplats?
Your absolutely right, the PS4 does have plenty of games you can play on the PS3.
