So Ubisoft delays a finished Rayman Legends on Wii U to port to other console, then turn around and delays Watchdogs on Wii U in order to release on other platforms first. Do publishers honestly wonder why 3rd parties don't perform well on Nintendo platforms?

Well I was planning on getting the Wii U version of Watchdogs for the Gamepad integration, but now I think I'll just pass on the game all together. There's already plenty of Nintendo first party titles coming...

Great read, I think one of Nintendo's strengths and weaknesses is it's individuality. Third parties have been abandoning Nintendo since the N64 when Sony entered the console business, and since that time third party publishers have made every excuse not to support Nintendo's consoles. There has been plenty of time since the N64 days for Nintendo to focus on becoming self sufficient and not depend on third parties who would rather see them leave the console space. If EA's proc...

The Xbox One practically hit a brick wall after launch pre-orders and the only region that showed a bit of interest is the US. Microsoft has said themselves, they only sold through 3 million with 900,000 sitting on retailers shelves. And to make matters even worse for the Xbox One; multiplats are performing significantly better on the PS4. That is extremely troubling if your main push is multiplats.

Birth Control in the ghetto is selling better than the Xbox One, MS needs to do something and do it fast.

I'll wait till it's free on PS+.

EA's crap makes it hard for me to buy Mass Effect 3 for even $10.82. Had they released the trilogy on the Wii U, I would have bought it day one.

The amount of anti-Nintendo articles that pop-up on N4G is staggering, it's like fanboy porn or something.

In a kind of sad irony, this article will quickly get out flamed by a media biased one.

I actually read the article and according to known facts it's pretty accurate. I must also state the sheer number of articles that are biased against Nintendo ranging from IGN to whatever basement "jounalist" trolls can gig up is a virtual avalanche compared the practical snowball of non anti-Nintendo articles.

What the corn in Micheal Pachter's dung are you rambling about? Atleast make your statements berating someone coherent.

When Microsoft say themselves that they actually only sold through 3 million consoles with 900,000 sitting on shelves, gaming sites still say 3.9 million sold. Nitpicking over Nintendo's numbers at these point just seem petty.

@deafdani DRM. EA is a major 3rd party publisher and I don't doubt for second EA was behind MS push for always online DRM and restricted used games sales. I believe that's the real reason EA abandoned their online pass, because MS was going to do it for them.
EA has always been salty towards Nintendo and never liked having to play by Nintendo rules. Especially with MS who is entirely dependent on 3rd party publishers for survival EA can pretty much write their own ticket on t...

It's sad you get down votes for stating your honest opinion in answering a question. It's like Fanboys have a crazed zombie mentality that would
attack anyone who isn't a zombie as well.

I would be lying if I said its launch lineup had any influence on my PS4 purchase, however Infamous: SS and MGSV aren't too far off. I suspected the PS4 would be scarce after launch, so picking it up launch day saved me the problem of trying to track down restocks.

I wouldn't be surprised if EA and Microsoft were paying those sites to run as many negative articles about Nintendo as possible. EA especially seems to have a real Hard on for Nintendo, and with MS and EA's partnership I wouldn't be surprised.

I wonder who is actually buying the Xbox One, from the looks of it no one is. I constantly see the consoles collecting dust on store shelves which leads me to believe the sales numbers given are those sold to the retailer. Given MS major media influences I can see the actual lackluster sales story being surpressed.

I find it curious that EA has seen a large boost in share prices as Nintendo's have basically took a nosedive of the news. Maybe it's true 3rd party publishers are directing an assault against Nintendo.

Nintendo makes money and they make a lot of it. And they are the only video games company that's successful in the business. Sure the WiiU isn't breaking any sales records and at the moment it does'nt need to. Sony on the other hand needs the PS4 to be top dog this generation because they actually are in a financial bind. All of these articles asking for Iwata's resignation are just trolls in heat who's only release is to attack Nintendo.

Fewer regulations are always better for the consumer. Just have to look at how the heavily regulated "Affordable Care Act" is anything but. If ISP were to try and squeeze their customers they would only create an opening for competition, and with fewer FCC regulations more investors will be willing to try the market if they can find a profit. You could potentially have ISP who tailor their services specifically for gamers or internet streamers. Regulations only hinder innovations an...

Wow that is a pretty drastic drop from a week ago. It will be interesting to see how much impact DKCTF will have on console sales once it's released.
