Hell yeah I do. It does ultimately depend on the game though. If it is a game I really want and have been following then I buy it at launch. Sometimes there are too many games to be bought and I wait until later. But if it exactly what I want then launch day it is.

All FPS games are a knock off in terms of gameplay at it's core. They may add a little tweak here and there that makes it their own, but as a whole they all ripped off Duke Nukem 3D or Doom. Once those games popularized the genre, everything after them was an imitation of them.

The first ghostly adventures was and still is I think on sale for about $12 on the eShop. At that price it is a really good game. Plays like Ratchet and Clank and has decent graphics too. I will say this, money plays a huge factor as well. Fortunately media is doing a great job at notifying me when a particular game is coming out so I can save for it. Mario Kart 8 was the last launch date game I purchased before I bought Hyrule Warriors.
