''Why is it that the one thing missing in most games now a days is FUN''
This after mentioning MGSV? I can say a lot of bad things about MGSV narrative, but what Kojima and the team did with the gameplay aspects of the game is a bar that yet any developer is about to reach and it was incredibly fun.
Death Stranding is a game that i and many others love, but i do have to acknowledge its definitely not for everyone.

It's dead in the sense that it wont receive anymore major updates like we see in the likes of GTA5 Online (a much older game).
And before someone states RDO is not as popular, the game was never given a proper chance by the likes of TakeTwo (just compare the ammount of updates) and the updates that it did receive pale in comparison to some.
I personally had a blast with it for 3 years, but yea, its time to move on like a lot of old players did.
For the full context of the article title:
''All Kojima will say about the other project is that it’s something he has wanted to make for years, but that the technology has never been sufficient until now. “It’s almost like a new medium,” he says. “If this succeeds, it will turn things around – not just in the game industry, but in the movie industry as well.” The challenge, Kojima says, is building the infrastructure: “you can have successful experiments, but there...
Gamepass will eventually see a price hike.
Vote with your wallet, not your comments.
We would not be in this mess if you (the consumers) actually did not buy products with prices that you did not support.
Lets leave Nate and his family alone... UC4 had a perfect conclusion to his story.
If any game deserved remakes its games like this. Old and technically flawed / outdated, not to mention how many bugs the game still has and performance issues on PC.
I can only hope they plan to do the same with Witcher 2 eventually.
It also makes me wonder, how will the Witcher 3 Upgrade hold up against remake graphically.
I remember when the first Nioh game was included in PS Plus (now known as PS Plus Essential) and had absolute blast with it for solid 50+ hours.
It was a refreshing take on the Souls genre (...) and Nioh 2 seems to improve on that. Nioh 2 alone makes this a very good month, and after the last 2 mediocre ones, it's about time.
Can't comment on Lego Harry Potter and Heavenly Bodies since i have limited knowledge about those two.
Jump between 30 to 60 (and as such even 40) makes a difference, some would say it's the biggest noticeable jump overall, especially when you go even higher (specifically above 90 FPS) is when you start to notice diminishing returns (the jump won't be noticeable or make that big of a jump due to frametimes marginal difference).
That said I will await for possible 60 fps patch for this.
And just like that (...) my day is ruined. How will we ever live without more ''boi'' meme material. /s
If this one is coming out on consoles (Xbox consoles that is), i see no reason why the newest one would not come aswell.
@Lexreborn2
''Why do y’all keep acting like games all have phenomenal narrative? I wasn’t going into this looking to cry I went in looking to fight crime, clean up Gotham and have fun.''
I am yet to see anyone here insinuating anything of the sort. There is good narrative, mediocre narrative and bad narrative. Gotham Knights falls somewhere between the last two, judging from the initial reception across all platforms.

''using my 3080 Alienware machine people swore was trash''
That depends on the context on that statement. There is a reason why Alienware is disliked in PC circles (especially when you take into consideration the absurd pricing of Alienware HW).
As for Gotham Knights, developers already confirmed they will add the 60 FPS mode for consoles (...) however that won't fix the existing issues when it comes to gameplay, graphics and narrative...
''7 and 8's seem to be truly objective scores.''
How very subjective of you.
Just out of curiosity (...) do you folk believe current gen consoles will manage to sell as much or even outsell the last gen consoles (PS4, XB1)?
This is of course, assuming there are no more major pandemics, chip shortages as such in the next 5-6 years (and assuming current gen will last the traditional 7 years and not longer like some might suggest).
Or people that simply broke the street-date. A regular occurrence in this industry.
Even on Youtube there will be some assholes putting spoiler-material in their thumbnails (...)
Deja vu
I can see them eventually adding a performance patch (...) optimization is not the best with this one (on all platforms).
2 years into the generation:
1 AA developer does a shoddy optimisation for their game on ALL platforms (which will likely get a 60 FPS patch later on)
''OMG guys 60 FPS was just a dream...''
Even Gotham Knights (if you want to play that mess at any FPS) will be getting a 60 FPS.
There might come a time where FPS and or resolution will have to be sacrificed, but its still too early to tell if that will be the cas...
