Half expected something like this after the Uncharted 4's Monkey Island easter-egg.

That said, i would have preferred a game easter-egg rather than a cameo of Mr. Druckmann (...) a brilliant writer, that unfortunately always think he is right.

60-90 is my sweet spot .. but like you stated, the differences are highly negligible (especially compared to the jump from 30 to 60).

Yes that includes input-latency.

This game franchise was my childhood. The moment i saw the very first trailer i felt like the kid i once was (...) no worries, no obligations, no weight of working and living in modern ''society'' ... just a kid, going for an adventure in Monkey Island games.

Can't wait to see what Gilbert and the crew has prepared for us this time. Can't wait to play yet another glorious Monkey Island adventure.

And this might be a wee bit controv...

''But he’s right in a way too - the future of games will be Tencent vs Microsoft vs some other FAANG company.''

I wont even delve into what kind of games those will be, if Microsoft and Tencent are the 2 biggest players in gaming industry (i.e. representing the future of gaming and games quality) ... with Nintendo and Sony out of the picture.

Good choice. A lot of fond memories from the 90s.

Consolidation of any industry is never good.

(Yes, the same would apply if Sony makes similar purchases of certain publishers.)

There is never much a guarantee, as we still don't really know what Sony plans with ALL future first party games.

A reminder, Jim Ryan's financial showcase showed that PC will receive only 25% of first party games, PS5 will retain 50% of them and mobile another 25%. (by financial years of 2025/2026)

Take that how you will. In the end it does not really matter, its the same game experiance, played on either PS5 or possible PC version. The only diff...

''real ps gamer''

oh, please (...) if someone is not hyped for the game its completely fine. Just because you and me loved what we saw, does not mean that applies to everyone (...) lets not let the hype (our feelings) get in the way of our critical thinking / rational thought.

Granted Kratos already sacrificed himself to give ''hope'' back to humanity in GOW 3 (...) and something tells me this will not be the last Kratos game, but it will indeed be the end of Norse myth.

'' Death can have me, when it earns me.''

A line worthy of Kratos.

Honestly i am not sold on these articles, especially when it comes from the likes of IGN.

Heck, i was not even blown away with their trailers for the game.

I'll keep an eye on it when the reviews start to drop in, especially from reviewers i trust. Point being, i have no hype for the game ... but hey, those graphics are nice at least.

RIP RDO. A game that never stood a chance, cuz of its own developers.

Not trying to give you false hope or anything, but remember (...) Witcher 1 was a so-so product, not much different in reception like Cyberpunk 2077, but the game showed promise and so did Cyberpunk 2077. So there is some hope for the sequel.

However, unlike Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher 1 was also not a victim of false advertising and scummy tactics when it comes to reviews (which did hurt CDPR, and is still hurting them).

CDPR statements:
- “WE STRONGLY BELIEVE IN THE LONG-TERM POTENTIAL OF THIS IP”
- "We’ve learnt a lot from Witcher 3 and how that DLC worked"
- ''As of today Multiplayer mode is in the works''
-*Shows a roadmap indicating 2 planned expansions/DLCs and free DLCs for Cyberpunk 2077*

It's pretty clear now, that they are in a rush to ditch the IP for now until they regain the lost PR with future projects (like the...

''But there are some new missions. It’s not quite the substantial DLC content that we would hope for, with Blood Money from July 2021 still representing Red Dead Online’s last major overhaul, but especially for players who like experiencing RDO solo, this update will be good news. Three new telegram missions are now available from the post office. These missions are named In Bad Faith, Strong Medicine, and Sow and Reap, and you can try them out for yourself as soon as the Red Dead Onl...
