They need to add an awesome Multiplayer dueling mode that is more akin to a traditional fps system. This way after gearing up and getting skills you can hop into some team deathmatch or something and check out how they fair against other players. I loved dueling my friends but I want to fight against the world a bit too.
Exactly, the game looks to be in a horrible state. NCSoft should throw all their money at Guild Wars 2 and make it amazing because that is going to be huge. It is also the only MMO that seems to be really shaking up the standard formula which is nice.
Yawn, it's a voxel engine. I love how he doesn't explain any of the downsides. He doesn't tell you how hard it will be to do skeletal animations or that the fact it can render in unlimited detail is because it is a duplication of the same object over and over. I wouldn't exactly call it snake oil, but they sure as hell aren't being completely honest with the tech.
Nope!
If this was the only MMO you were looking forward to then something is wrong with you. Guild Wars 2 looks like an incredible game and much better than this trash which had a terrible launch in Korea and has been panned by critics there.
They already had a model for this. A normal MMO auction house functions the same way without the bullshit requirement of real money. I don't mind things being sold for real money but there should be an option to acquire stuff off the auction house for items or ingame currency. The more I hear about this game, the less I want to play it.
Yeah I am done buying Capcom's game. I am voting with my wallet.
Cause they want you to buy the game twice. I already have the limited edition, why would I want another copy?
If he used that game as a killing simulator he should be worse at it in real life since it is nothing like real combat at all.
Capcom gets no sympathy for this. They are just using it as an excuse to cover up their usual nickel-and-dime the consumer attitude.
It's definitely a stigma still these days, though I like to wear it like a badge of honor.
There were some pretty cool multiplayer levels in Twisted Metal that had some wicked earthquakes. It changed the gameplay enough that I could see it working really well in a Battlefield game.
In other news, water is wet!
I'm making a mod for the original Crysis engine and I can attest to it being 100 percent real-time. What we have been able to achieve has been incredible compared to anything we could have put out in another engine. I have access to the newest Cryengine through school as well. I have been fooling around with it quite a bit and the possibilities seem to be endless.
From whichever eye is crazier.
Far Cry 2 was a terrible game wrapped in an amazing engine.
Square Enix's Duke Nukem Forever.
Guild Wars 2!
They better reduce this piece of junk CE. I am sick of publishers skimping on the good Collector's Edition content.
If you played the original, they did have a dueling arena. I am not asking for a Call of Duty, just a more fleshed out dueling system. Maybe with a simple matchmaking where I can duel 1on1 with people near my level. I never had much of a problem with finding a gun that could match my friend's weapons in balance. The biggest thing was some of the powers were clearly unfair.
I just think it would be interesting to pit yourself against others because near the end of the gam...
