Compared to Bethesda's past games, Skyrim is like a glittering polished gem. I have yet to find any game breaking bugs beyond the usual getting stuck behind or on something. Usually I end up having to restart a quest or two to get the scripting to kick in.
Any fixes on consoles take forever to roll out because of the testing and certification. Unless Sony approves the patch, they won't be able to issue it. Because of this reasoning they usually release bigger patches for consoles because they can't patch nearly as quick as a pc.
I agree completely. I have it unlocked for my A91 and I feel like it's cheating. It's sooooo easy to spot people and completely negates the effects of camo. If you see someone getting a massive K/D ratio, chances are they are using one of these scopes. Whenever I start to do poor with the other kits I switch back to the cheapo gun to get some positive momentum going.
The laser is perfectly fine.
If you are still asking why people hate this game then you are never going to get it.
On singleplayer games I have no problem with used game sales. I totally understand the reasoning for the online pass thing though.
Think of it this way: You are a developer who has made a FPS game that requires the user to play on YOUR servers. Say that every user on the servers costs you about 10 bucks per year to maintain. If the user bought the game used, you are seeing zero dollars profit from them and yet as the developer you are expected to suck up the 10 dollars cost ...
They should have made the new GTA in the future or something along those lines. It would be cool jacking hover cars and running over robot pedestrians.
I actually like the puzzle parts of Uncharted. It's the crappy one button platforming that throws off my immersion level. Also if you are having problems with Uncharted's level of puzzles, then that is just sad. You would never be able to play a game like Silent Hill that has some real tough puzzles in it.
The whole point of Uncharted is mixing 3 elements in a cinematic fashion: puzzles, shooting, and platforming. Without the puzzles, the pacing would be horrible. Als...
Doesn't stop half of your team using recon because they want to camp and be bush wookies. I am personally glad they made the recon class less powerful. Having a sniper and the ability to take out tanks was a bit over powered.
Looks pretty cool, I think the idea of a gladiator fighting game is a good one. Hopefully it doesn't take too long to get localized.
Man what a terrible preorder bonus. That figure is hideous! Should have gone with a Dunny instead of that horrendous thing.
I liked the game but it was clearly not for everyone. Duke was a victim of the endless hype train and nothing short of an absolutely perfect game would have saved it. People fail to realize that 3dRealms redid the damn game 3-4 times. It's incredible it even made it through that in the state it released in. I was just happy to finally see the issue get a resolution. Now if Gearbox can make a sweet new Duke game then maybe he can turn around some of the negativity. But I agree the game was...
It's more realistic that way. If you need to get across wide open ground and you know there is someone waiting to shoot you then get some covering fire going. Once the fire is up, run across, simple. Using realistic military tactics in BF gets you a good score.
Nice let's hope it comes out quicker and is better than the last game. Alan Wake was a good game, but I didn't find it scary at all. Hopefully they come up with a scarier premise this time around.
"Player advancement in terms of rank, class unlocks, and skill progression will carry forward beyond Closed Beta, into Open Beta and into Release."
So new players will get destroyed by beta players who have already unlocked everything? Wow that sounds like a great idea! /S
There is a reason every online beta clears the stats of it's players before release. I would love to hear their justification for this one.
For god's sake Rockstar, remove the damn autotargeting feature from online play. It takes 99 percent of the skill away when everyone is running around locking onto each other with automatics and not even trying to aim. At least give me an option to play only on "hardcore" servers. I think you may have added it to GTA IV but it was long after I got tired of dealing with it.
Sounds good to me, I hated having to load into a game just to change my options.
What's even the point of having bipods if you can't use them. Looking cool?!
Can you actually deploy your bipod on anything in this game or is it restricted somehow? If it's not like BF3 or Day of Defeat's bipods then what is even the point? Not hating, I am seriously asking a question as I haven't played the multiplayer in the new COD games.
This game easily improves on more than 5 things from Oblivion. The game is so much better than Oblivion it really amazes me. Other developers should take note of the radical changes and fresh ideas Bethesda took a chance on implementing. The game is just that good.
