They can't, simple as that. Nintendo already lost their "hardcore" crowd to the other platforms, when they decided to focus on casual games and shovel-ware. They would have to prove themselves with a whole other generation of hardware and games before the hardcore gamer will be back on board. Just because you have the same games on Wii U that I can get on the other 2 systems does not mean you have won us gamers back.
BF3 campaign is easily as good as COD is and just as scripted. Almost all the campaign complaints are the same for the both games.
I only drink the breast milk from insanely hot women.
IGN is terrible at reviews and this goes to show why. They try to beat everyone else to the first review which in turn leads their reviews to be rushed and incomplete.
Origin is still better than Steam was when it was first released. Most of you youngins don't remember it, but Steam was HORRIBLE on first launch. It was slow, buggy, and worst of all it didn't always work. I remember all I wanted to do was splay some Counterstrike and having to go through Steam to do it made me angry as all hell. Now we all love Steam but others fail to realize it hasn't always been perfect. Give Origin a chance, it is getting better.
Greg Miller is a terrible reviewer and writer though.
IGN has lost most of the credibility. Their reviews are generally terrible.
What PS3 exclusives are you talking about? The PS3 has the largest number of highly rated exclusives out there. You make no sense. Resistance 3 is the only one I can think of.
No game is perfect, that is the problem I have. There is always room for improvement. 9.9 is the highest score you should be able to receive.
Man you can practically feel the fanboy oozing from that review. The fact that Uncharted 3 beat BF3 in graphics and multiplayer according to IGN just goes to show how big of fanboys they are. Uncharted is a good game and it I think it deserves above a 9 but there is no way it beats BF3 in those 2 areas. Ign has always been a fanboy site though and this goes to show you why. I bet after setting the 10/10 trend other sites will think "if IGN gave it a 10 then I can too" and jump on th...
Bah, too bad I have to wait a month for the PC version. I really liked the original Batman as a Physx benchmark and demo. Can't get much better Physx than Batman's cape.
Even though I lament the loss of RPG elements in the franchise, I still think Mass Effect is all that and a bag of chips. The game has one of the most interesting worlds I have seen in a long time. Also it was always about the story and combat so the focus on that is fine. Now Dragon Age 2 on the other hand, don't get me started. That is a game that never should have had it's RPG heart torn from it's chest.
Problem was, Rage wasn't a really great game only a good one and that isn't going to cut it in today's market. The stupid thing about it, is that the game could have easily have been fixed by allowing the player to roam as they please and cut out a lot of the backtracking. The way they decided to implement their questing system is terrible. You should NEVER have to initiate the quest beforehand in a semi-open world RPG unless it's strictly tied to story progression. Not allowi...
Definitely Brucie and the many funny-as-hell radio show hosts. Sure Lazlow was great, but there was so many talk show radio shows on GTA I love. I almost never listened to the music in that game, since I thought the commentary was so funny.
Sorry meant to say N4G instead of CVG. Still it looks like I got my point across.
PC has crazy deals sometimes that make it very cheap. My buddies and I bought the Borderlands 4 pack off of Steam and saved about 15 dollars per copy versus the console versions of the game. I remember picking up The Witcher enhanced edition online for 10 bucks. It's these little things that add up in the end to save you money. Question is do you want to save a bit of money now or a lot of money later?
That's not always the case. You actual power draw is not the same as the max draw on your power supply. A machine with a 560, quad core and one harddrive will usually draw around 200-250. My own power supply has efficiency above 90 percent, so most of the time it is using very little power.
The PS3 has power supply of 380 watts. The original PS3 draws 170-200, while the new one draws between 90-125 watts. This puts it on par with an average level gaming PC. Just remember ...
90 percent of the articles on CVG are from blogs. A gaming blog isn't much different from the trash they call writing as seen on IGN.
If you are an adult with a job, you should be able to afford both a console and a PC. I have 3 computers at home (mediaPC, laptop, and main/gaming rig), each with enough power to play BF3 at medium/high/ultra respectively. I also own a PS3 and a PSP. I use my TV as a monitor for one of my PCs so that kept the costs down a bit.
Also I live alone, in my own apartment, so if I can afford it I don't see why others can't. If so hard up for cash that you can't, you shou...
Not exercising makes you fat. I game all the time but ride my bike to work every day. It's not hard to stay skinny if you don't gorge yourself constantly and do some exercise every now and then. We don't need to all turn into Boba Fatt.
