Yeah I feel you, got bored after around 1000 hours first time, but then jumping back at every free update gives me another 50+ hours until I realise I need to continue with with backlog and new games..

Then PSVR2 came and I've spent another 400 hours 😑
And the more I play Starfield, the more I want to get back to my large houses and outposts I've build in NMS

I played NMS since release, and since Multiplayer patch I've spent over 1500 hours across PS4 and PS5. Never had a crash as I can remember

Hell we might not even ne around 🧓

6 million downloads is actually in 8 days, but the full freebies had 48 hours.
However, you missed the point.

If you already have GamePass, the downloading it is free.
Everyone SHOULD download Starfield who has GamePass, as it's the first and only good game in a very long time on the service, especially on Xbox.

6 million downloads is pretty good.
I'd say the 5,1 million sales of God of War Ragnarok in 3 days are a bit better thou.

Enjoying my time with Starfield since I started to ignore the negative parts about the game.

Lost Odyssey is one of the best jrpgs of that era but got killed because it was bought up and released on the "wrong" console.

I love the Mantis set and will stay with that just for the looks 👍

You had a "problem" in NMS that you always had to fly sounds like you didn't know about fast travel.

1014d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

You can fast travel in NMS aswell, after exploring and building Outposts with portals.

I played Starlink: Battle for Atlas, even got the Platinum 2 days after release and no, it's not anything like either NMS or Starfield. It's a very Ubisoft like openworld game, just way shorter.

You haven't played both, if you think NMS is about flying forever. The flying in NMS is probably less than 5% of the game.

You call Starfield a child's game?
Doubt many childs would be able to play through Starfield, less so even escape the first planet in NMS.

@neutralgamer1992
IF Bethesda would put a percentile of the effort to fix their singleplayer games compared to Hello Games, we would see progress Skyrim, Oblivion, Morrowind etc...

Skyrim is as buggy and broken through all 3 generations it's been released, so not buy wanting money, they care, as long as their fanbase says the games are perfect and the community fix the rest through mods for PC players.

So I wouldn't hold my breath, sorry....

Not that it matters as I'm responding to Flawlessmic who talks about the present, but 8 of the 14 lines were there from start.

Do you also want to ask how old No Man Sky is, or how big the team was, making it?

@Tedakin
I can see that the only experience you have with space is Star Wars and no Starfield. I feel sorry for you.
Lightspeed in Starfield however is not a way of transportation, it's a loading screen to hide obvious limitations.

If you ever played No Man Sky, you know that "lightspeed" or gravjump as it's called here, is a thing there as well, but with difference that it's not acting like a loading screen but instead a way of trave...

I guess that goes for every game you play the?

In GTA, you teleport inside the car, and then teleport to your destination because NO ONE have time to drive to a destination.
In BotW/TotK you teleport to each shrine, because NO ONE have time to get there by climbing or gliding.
In Street Fighte you skip to Round 3 and hope one hit will defeat the opponent because NO ONE have time for the real fight.

I could go on, but I guess you get the ...

@ThinkThink
You missed the point. The reason ocelot07 said this is because it's not possible.

1014d ago 20 agree3 disagreeView comment

Doesn't take an hour in No Man Sky.
Removing all the loading screens and menu tabbing in Starfield and you have almost the same amount of time it takes in No Man Sky to reach a new planet.
