@Tedakin
I can see that the only experience you have with space is Star Wars and no Starfield. I feel sorry for you.
Lightspeed in Starfield however is not a way of transportation, it's a loading screen to hide obvious limitations.
If you ever played No Man Sky, you know that "lightspeed" or gravjump as it's called here, is a thing there as well, but with difference that it's not acting like a loading screen but instead a way of trave...
I guess that goes for every game you play the?
In GTA, you teleport inside the car, and then teleport to your destination because NO ONE have time to drive to a destination.
In BotW/TotK you teleport to each shrine, because NO ONE have time to get there by climbing or gliding.
In Street Fighte you skip to Round 3 and hope one hit will defeat the opponent because NO ONE have time for the real fight.
I could go on, but I guess you get the ...
@ThinkThink
You missed the point. The reason ocelot07 said this is because it's not possible.
Doesn't take an hour in No Man Sky.
Removing all the loading screens and menu tabbing in Starfield and you have almost the same amount of time it takes in No Man Sky to reach a new planet.
In this game, you're forced to it thou. There is no other way to travel to other planets than fast travel and menus.
Did you even play No Man Sky? 😏
As I see many doesn't agree with me, I would love to know which points I was wrong at? 😏
I've spent 40 hours on Starfield as of writing this, and still going (and loving) the game, but would still be interesting to hear from the ones who disagree in my above comment, where I went wrong. 🕺
Not everything else.
No Man Sky:
- Exploration
- Basebuilding
- Ship and gear upgrades
- Item management
- Surviving mechanics
- VR
- Water/swimming
- Vehicles
- Animal breeding and riding
- Jetpack usage
- Space combat
- FPS (performance over all)
- Loading screens
- Multiplayer
Starfield:
- Quests
- Character de...
Maps is surely possible, the other 2, not so much.
Why wouldn't people do sidequests? 🤔
I did them all before grabbing the Platinum.
I'm not even a Potter fan, but enjoyed the game from beginning til end.
Only mod I really need is maps.
And if mods could remove the countless loadingscreens, that'd be nice as well.
And as someone who loves No Man Sky, it would be nice if modders could make it possible to actually fly away from planets and land on planets without cutscenes and menu systems.
"Officially, Meta has only announced that the Meta Quest 3 128GB will retail for $499 USD/£499 GBP/€499 EUR.
512GB model listed for €699. If this pricing is correct, then we’d expect $599 and maybe £599 for the US and UK. "
I don't know why this site would expect $100 and £100 less then the Euro thou.
@Weallgame
Does a bug need to be game breaking to count us a bug?
I had 5 "game breaking" bugs in my 20 hours, if we count getting stuck and you're forced to fast travel out from your position and then walk all the way back (or load last save).
Also Vasco dissapeared when I met Sarah and can't be find anywhere. Not listed as crew so can't set him to any of my ships/outposts, and nowhere to be found in New Atlantis (where he decided to leave me)...
Well deserved.
It is a great game.
If it wasn't for Final Fantasy XVI, Tears of the Kingdom and Baldurs Gate 3, it would have a chance on GOTY against RE4 Remake, Starfield and probably Spider-Man 2.
Why?
The didn't want any platform to limit their process with their game.
Now they're done and made the game with only the PS5 as the limitation.
Next they can focus how to port it to PC with what they had in mind.
It's around 25-30 games higher rated this year
I found the "space onions" less than 2 hours in. Doesn't have to play for too long.
However, no, Anast didn't play the game and probably never had the intention.
He's one of the Sony fanboys that are as awkward as the Obscure, Obscurare etc from the Xbox side here.
However, I almost agree with him, with the difference that I have put 25 hours down.
It's a 7/10 for me, which is fine by me, but the biggest let dow...
Yeah. The tablet is at Whetstone btw 👍
Which lies in commercial district.
That's before the reviews from UK outlets is coming.
The Metacritic for Xbox Series X version is 87.
UK outlets didn't get a review code, because they're not Xbox bias.
It will still probably end up in mid 80s
Playstation Studios since launch of PS5:
God of War: Ragnarök - 94
Horizon Forbidden West - 88
Returnal - 86
Ratchet & Clank: A Rift Apart - 88
Gran Turismo 7 - 87

A hardcore explorer absolutely use maps. Keep on trolling
