Other than .Hack, I can't think of other games where you can transfer your save data to the sequel.
I'm happy each game is their own, and as SquareEnix stated, they want every game in the trilogy to be enjoyable by anyone, wether they jump in on Remake, Rebirth or the third game.
Everyone and their mother did, but yeah, Dood is one of the best when it comes to covering Final Fantasy VII content.
Also his spoilercast with Easy Allies from 3 years ago is amazing.
I'm a day 1 Xbox Series X owner, but not a fan.
Bought it just for Starfield, which was a big dissapointment so now it's used by my son to play Fortnite, Rocket League and Fall Guys ...
Together with Switch, my biggest waste of money since I got a wife 😏
Most X users also have an XSS...
You're kidding right?
But let's say you are right, that means we can cut 6 million from the total sales of 23 million, and we're down to just 17 million Xbox Series owners .... ouch.
You are right. The Series S percentage is probably even higher now, a year later, due to the bad economical situation in the world.
Lame comment, but guess you're not a gamer.
I main Playstation and always did.
I'm a known Sony fanboy (like so many others here), but to wish amazing games, especially third party games ain't being playable by everyone is just a childish act and disgusting imo.
Be better.
This is the best part of Starfield and out of my 50 hours I put into the game, 30 hours was spent building Outposts and Ships.
I hope we get updates to do even more because as of now, No Man Sky is lightyears ahead regarding the things you can build.
Starfields number on Xbox will show in September, but I doubt it has the impact as our dear Xbox fans has said/hoped for months.
My bet is that PS5 is up on top again in September, but that Series S will be a little closer, and then in October, PS5 will slaughter Xbox and probably doing so the rest of the generation.
So PS5 outselling Series S (and some X) by 4 to 1!
INSANE!
MS should beat Sony in September due to the long awaited, what was to be masterpiece Starfield.
Will be interesting to see.
@Barlos
You are absolutely right, but I don't want a portable Nintendo console.
My best moments with Nintendo was NES, SNES, N64 and GameCube, and ever since I've only experienced disappointment.
For me personally, I want Nintendo to go back to 1 home console and 1 portable console.
I was never in for the Gameboy, Nintendo DS etc...
However I love Zelda, Xenoblade, Metroid Prime and enjoyed the Marios up to GameCube.
But ...
And still not a single game on Switch looks and plays as well as games like FFXIII trilogy, Uncharted, Last of Us.
People say Switch is close to PS3/X360 era, but any game even trying to get close to graphics of that quality need ro be run through the cloud.
Just give me a real hardware with Zelda and Mario games looking like Ratchet and Clank. That would make me start playing Nintendo gamea again.
Did you actually play Forspoken or joined the hate train?
Everyone I know who actually played it likes it.
For me it's a solid 7/10 game with amazing combat.
SE has given us tona of new games, year after year.
It's a very small part of todays gamers that actually asks for PE.
I'd love PE1-3 remastered, but we are for sure minority.
Still talking about Hogwarts Legacy?
Of course those are not monthly cost, if so, I'd right /month as I did on GTAV.
This is a onetime cost for those games with 1 year permission on the service.
Out of the around 400 games on GamePass, I'll be nice and say half is First Party, but most of the other 200 games are paid in one way or another.
$230 million/month for GamePass is nowhere near profitable.
But wasting more to "rake" it in.
They equals bad business, but you need to attend school to get basic math.
For me who played every single Final Fantasy game and spinoff, FFXVI for me is one of the best FF-games.
There has been no sales numbers for Starfield, but I can assure you it didn't sell more than FFXVI, not yet at least.
Only 6 million had played Starfield 9 days after release, and out those 6 million, only 4,5 million has reached the first starship which is 25 minutes into the game.
The fans, which is not only Sony fans, have their concerns because MS is trying to change gaming for the worse.
When Xbox fans always say and think GamePass is a lucrative and profitable business they are feeding MS with exactly what they want, false trust.
GamePass ain't profitable, which is getting more and more obvious, especially with the leaks we had last 48 hours.
Why does it matter for us fans you ask?
Well, we have ...
@DarkZane good point, but still nothing a lame comment.
I'm happy for the same reason, but I don't feel the need of putting it in the face of Xbox fans.
