It won't, but the article is not about FFXVI
FFXVI is the only game from SE that isn't a part of the problem, if you're talking about the $2 billion loss
For people who can't read.
It's not because of FFXVI.
FFXVI is one of the few games that actually have sold enough to cover the costs. The article even mention that FFXVI can't save the loss of all the other games.
Forspoken, Chocobo Racing, First Soldier etc.
You have reading issues, that's fine, but what is said is that FFXVI couldn't cover the loss of the other games.
FFXVI itself has covered for it's costs and more
Is the Final Fantasy VII story good?
Yes
By that comment, I assume you are a Xbox gamer.
Both past games was 60fps and Ratchet & Clank has been 60fps, so why do you even have doubts?
We're talking about Insomniac Games here.
Nope, no one has said it outsold FFXVI, and it didn't.
And he knows absolutely nothing about that.
If Starfield sold more than 5 million (which FFXVI did in days) we would've heard it.
Instead we heard that 6 million have played Starfield.
I can almost guarantee that Starfield haven't, and won't sell more than FFXVI, mainly because it's on GamePass.
No, most streamers doesn't hate the game. If you chose only to watch fanboys, yeah, the streamers YOU watch might "hate" the game.
However, most of the streamers seems to agree this ain't a 9 or 10/10 game, but more in range 7-8/10 but still fun enough to stick around with.
And that's exactly how I feel as well.
Your comments regarding Starfield is making even us Sony fans annoyed by your upcoming comments.

You can actually buy 7 months of GP for the price of Starfield.
If it didn't debut at No.1 it would've been a total failure.
There is no other new game of interest for the UK crowd.
I hope when we get the numbers, that it's actually great sales as well, and not just "it was #1 because no other games selling right now".
However, as Hogwarts Legacy still is the game up top (just behind Starfield now), and that game ain't selling more than 10-15k copies/week, we actually have no idea how good the sales of ...
You do know Starfield is playable on a lot more than Xbox, right?
I'm playing Starfield on my Series X, my PC, my phone and my work laptop.
Most people with interest of gaming can actually play the game for $10.
Me and my friends have built outposts, gathered resources together, trade weapons, explored the stars and started on pretty big city. Multiplayer isnindeed tacked on, but compared to many other multiplayer games, I don't see what it's actually missing? Duels?
Not so bright, are you?
I think FFXVI, BG3 and TotK will all get more awards than Starfield.
TotK will win because it's Nintendo and they have free pass regarding graphics, poor frame rate, bugs, accessibility. I liked TotK my first 10-15 hours, but after I realised it ain't much more than a dlc to BotW i got as bored as I did with BotW.
FFXVI and BG3 I believe will get the most Awards (4-5 each).
I don't see which award Starfield could win actually, maybe b...
@spss11
Since when did you "primarily" played on Playstation.
In the 2,5 years you've been around here have you mainly mentioned your CyberPunk Xbox One and all the games you played on your One X or 2080Ti.
In fact, you only mentioned Playstation ones, and that was RDR2 deserving a 10/10 on PS4.
However, Statfield ain't getting more hate than praise.
Sony fanboys are downtalking it just like Xbox fanboys downta...
I bought a Series X at release just for this one game.
I like it, but it has many flaws and a 7/10 is about right (in my opinion). I still have a great time, but so I did with Saints Row, Crackdown and Forspoken, another 3 games I'd give scores in the range of 6-7.
People was trashing NMS at release but since the first few free dlc's it's getting the praise it deserves.
No, it didn't sell 6 million copies. It didn't sell more than FFXVI, however, it has 6 million downloads where the majority is from GamePass.
