"What exactly is you think MS is going to do in the end? Now keep in mind I'm open to hear you out but don't beat around the bush. I need to understand what you believe the exact out come is here."
I don't "beat around the bush" when it comes to the biggest POS in the industry, Microsoft. Industry consolidation destroys competition and innovation and leads to mass layoffs, a lesser products at higher cost to the consumer, a very basic grade s...
"You seem to follow Sony with blind eyes then hate on MS for doing the same exact things that sony does. You gotta be objective man."
Please quote me caring about Sony (lets make this easy for you) in the last 3 years and please show me defending Sony spending $80 billion on industry consolidation.
"Buddy I hate to inform you of this but every company is a consolidation of studios."
Just say you have no idea what industry consolidation ...
Why would I care what Sony did or didn't do? All I want from them right now is Bloodborne on PC.
"You really seem to have a hard time dealing with MS's success." Yes I do, because MS "success" means industry consolidation and studio shutdowns as a direct result of MS's greed spree of newly purchased Publishers. Success to you is just buying and consolidating an industry at the cost to gamers and the workforce... but hey as long as the CEO'...
The only thing Microsoft crushed were studios like Tango and Arkane, just think we could have seen games from them if it wasn't for xbox.
The gaming media better get on board with these sort of articles as MS buying up the industry means you guys won't get review copies or exclusive news unless you push the MS narrative.
The MS narrative "it's everyone else's fault."
MS are buying up the industry so you need a compliant media to tell you how awesome consolidation and mass layoffs are... and they know MS is IP hunting too, they will be cut off from review copies of some of gaming's biggest IP's if they don't play ball.
This is the only Bethesda RPG that I haven't finished and have very little interest in returning too. Over priced MTs aren't going to make this game fun
Spending almost $80 billion to consolidate a massive part of the industry, having to fire thousands and close down one of your most celebrated studios because of greed is very much the fault of MS... oh and lets not forget no new games come form MS mergers but we have lost some because of it.
Lay all the praise on the devs but MS and Xbox deserve zero.
Never said it was, I just found it funny that MS firing thousands and closing Tango is being praised here.
The games sites are falling in line, ms will be proud of them. It's not a great surprise, where we used to have three publishers doing their own shows, Bethesda, Activision and xbox we now only have one.
"The games industry has seen a lot of strife in recent years, namely in the form of mass lay-offs, unfathomable studio shuttering" ... A big part thanks Microsoft's industry consolidation, but do carry on kissing their behind Forbes.
You're forgetting the other costs, studios like Tango being closed and thousands losing their jobs.
The good thing is delaying the Xbox release won't impact overall sales much as you guys stopped buying games so it's better to focus on the platforms that support the devs first.
The fact they are doing this shows projected sales on Xbox are low and other platforms are a higher priority, which makes sense as that's where the money and support comes from.
And there you have it, it's like you actively want to destroy the industry. Just rent the games and then buy them, knowing that doesn't happen and the actual cost of pushing a rental service is studios closures and firings.
So far MS has done nothing with Bethesda and Activision except limit where they sell, close successful studies, fire thousands and mass industry consolidation. No new games are being made that weren't already coming and some like Tangos futur...
If it works CEOs and shareholders get a payday and if it doesn't even more studios get closed by MS so CEOs and shareholders get a payday.
The next fallout will be on all systems as Xbox is their smallest market. You don't restrict your flagship games to one of the worlds smallest and shrinking platform.
Bethesda still needs PC and PS as we've learnt from recent layoffs thanks to Microsoft's greed in trying to ban multiplatform publisher's from their biggest console platform.
"This also gave sweet baby inc more support they helped with the sotry and she hulk aka marry jane so why not make the next spiderman game with gwen but her powers only work after she attends lgbqt rallies fear the power of queer right's bad guys."
Crazy right-wing snowflakes like Tim Pool have broken you with outrage media and "fear of the other". Tater Tots need to go outside and live in the real world, don't be scared... unless you're just...
I'm getting one, by far the most comfortable headset I've used and a really nice OLED display.
darthv72 activity promoting studio shutdowns with that comment.
"Name one company that isn't buying studios. You keep saying things that are already happening then saying MS bad."
Name one company that has spent $80 billion on consolidating a huge part of an industry and is having to close studios and fire thousands because of it's own consolidation practices.
"MS lives rent free in your head. You literally are fear mongering than sitting back in the hopes the stuff floating around in your noggi...
