No.
All it needs is exploration, interesting characters and space flight added then it might be good.
Rated 54% on Steam and doing numbers half that of their other titles that are over a decade old. It's by far Bethesda's most disappointing game it has a lack of RPG elements, lack of choice and poor writing across the board, a total degrade from previous titles.
@TheNamelessOne
Wasn't the biggest issue that people had is that the game lacked depth, a million miles wide but one mile deep? The single most disappointing RPG from Bethesda, Starfield the illusion of scale and the lack of an RPG.
The game has a combined populated area that is smaller than Skyrim, and the entire game is 4 railroaded plotlines that don't let you Roleplay anything, you basically just looter shooter in small zones that follow linear storyli...
Instead of running in a straight line for 10 mins to the copy pasted destination you can now drive in a straight line for 5 mins to the copy pasted destination.
Wow, I can see why tech4gamers is coving this, there's some real innovative tech happening in Starfield. What will be next, ships that can fly and don't just spin around a skybox with 2D planets?
"There´s no rivals anymore. Only partners now. To MS money is all that matters and they will be making big money out everyone, including you."
It's a shame MS never invested in creating games otherwise thousands of devs could have kept their jobs and a huge part of the industry would still be competing, instead we have consolidated for the betterment of the few.
But I guess it was all worth it so you get to celebrate CEO's and share...
Problem is MS purchased lots of multiplatform titles, studios and publishers that sell far better and are reliant on rival platforms.
I'll be getting a new PC when the rtx5000 series come out so no doubt this game will come with the card... I only say that because my 2070 came with Division 2, my 3080 came with Watchdogs Legion.
Like I said, stop living in denial
"We're done here"
I was done after my first statement, the fact you can't handle or disprove anything I said is even more more telling.
Just calm down and disconnect for the evening.
They got here through trying to buy success instead of doing what other platforms do, earn it. Still, MS got a nice payday for a handful of CEO's and shareholders out of their consolidation of a massive chunk of the industry and firing thousands.
Don't think this is the last we see of MS's sh***y practices though, they still have full control of some of gaming's biggest IP's to use as leverage and are still wanting to turn the industry into a rental mar...
Stop getting your fanboy panties in a twist.
PC>PS5 Pro>PS5>then the xbox's
It'll run better on PC PS5 Pro and going by this entire generation standard PS5 will perform better then both Xboxes.
You'll get over your denial one day.
"Do your homework"
I did, It'll be better on PC and PS5 pro.
Get over it kid.
If that's true can you please optimise the games you put on PC? I can run Cyberpunk better than FF7 remake
...a boat mod to go where in the game?
Fallout, Elder Scrolls you have places to go and rivers that lead to places of interest. Starfield has nothing but large cubes with some copy pasted buildings in it, fine for a buggy as there is nothing in the maps to explore so you want to get from A-B fast, but a boat?!?
Get it on PC or PS5 pro.

"I have successfully disproven your points so now you are trying a different angle."
Yes truly you have showed how MS has brought the industry forward... with nothing so far, odd.
"How many developers have lost their jobs because their game went on gamepass? From what I understand, those developers made a decision to put their game on gamepass and they are paid a price they agreed to."
Don't ...
All MS has achieved is industry consolidation and firing thousands so they can control some of gamings biggest IP's. The only people who have benefited from this are CEO's and shareholders, everyone else got screwed.
MS are the single worst thing to ever happen to gaming
@DivineHand125
You have a very interesting view of what benefits
"the introduction of gamepass". The very thing MS stated "cannibalizes sales", kills lifetime sales, kills dev jobs, removes consumer rights by pushing a rental service.
"The Xbox Series consoles also have features that are not available on PlayStation and the Nintendo switch but in order for those features to go mainstream, being the market leader gives you...
@Notellin and DivineHand125
No s**t. The difference is every platform holder except MS makes it's money and grows it's audience by adding to the industry, MS just want to make money by taking what's already there. One benefits the industry the other only benefits MS.
"That statement is 100% false. The Xbox has made many contributions to the industry during the Xbox 360 era."
Which was how long ago? Also what you li...
MS has never cared about gaming, just its money. Every platform and platform holder has added to the industry except for MS who just takes. Now MS has purchased some of the biggest IP's in gaming Xbox is surplus to requirement, they will focus on trying to push game rentals going forward and trying to buy Valve.
Why would they need to buy those publishers when Sony are their lead platform in the console market? They already make games for the PlayStation, all that would happen is what we've seen with MS, a handful of already rich people getting wealthier at the cost of industry consolidation and thousands more devs being fired.
