Not happening. Nintendo is no where near desperation level like SEGA was even if NX bombs.
Nintendo wasn't ready for HD gaming and underestimated how much time and resources it takes to make games in HD.
Which was the reason no killer apps was ready for the Wii U launch. Nintendo are smart people and won't make that mistake this time around

I don't think Zelda games should go for photo realism.
Wind Waker aged far better than Twilight Princess as far as art direction goes so I think they should keep doing cell shaded graphics.

People always suggesting Nintendo "grow up".
These are people who are insecure about their image and want to appear adult-like at all times which in itself is childish.
Children are born everyday. Just because you've out grown something doesn't give you the right to take it away from others.
For some,3D WORLD was their first Mario game. For others Fire Emblem Awakenings was their first.

That's unrealistic for this Zelda to be released as a launch tittle for Wii U considering Nintendo just finished Skyward Sword for the Wii in 2011.
Zelda games(console ones) requires far more time and recurses than a handheld Zelda game.
This isn't COD or Assassin's Creed. There is no way Nintendo can just plop out a Zelda game in a year without a major drop in quality and content.

People need to understand that Nintendo has to juggle both handhelds and home consoles without going over the budget.
So some years focus on Wii U while others focus on 3DS.
