Mario wouldn't work well with VR.
Mario requires precision platforming and that's hard to do in first person.
Metroid Prime would be the only game I can see using VR....AND StarFox
Too busy with Freedom Planet,Shovel Knight and Armillo to care about one indie game getting caned.
Far more excited about Shante Half-Genie hero, Fast Racing NEO and 90's arcade racer to care about Gone Home.
Then why did Shovel Knight sold best on 3DS and Wii U?

Nintendo games are priced that high because they aren't competing with other publishers directly.
The only reason Playstaion/XBOX games are so cheep is because those consoles are over-saturated with multiple games releasing around the same time.
They kinda have to cut prices in order to make money. If Sony,MS, and third parties could they'd charge just as much as Nintendo does for their games.

Anyway, spin-off Mario games can be hit or miss sometimes.
I only play the main-line Mario games ,(2D/3D Marios)
the RPGs and occasionally the Mario Kart games.
If any of those 3 goes south,I'd be worried
I don't think this game deserves a 4/10.
Sure it's lacking content but it's playable and I'm sure fun could be had with the title.
6/10 would seem more appropriate.

Netflix and Hulu have taken over and the Wii U supports those.
Everyone and their grandma has a DVD/Blueray players in their home. Why pay more for something you already have or don't need?
I doubt Nintendo would release NX next year.
Part of the reasons why Wii U failed to attract more gamers was the fact they didn't have those killer apps ready at launch.
NSMU was ok but nothing worth forking over $300+ over.
They would be foolish to release a new console without at least one or two of their most popular franchises to the NX and I just don't see that happening that soon.
NES games are $5. SNES games are $10. SNES=16-Bits not 8-bit.

I think consoles are a great alternative for gamers who aren't that tech savvy.
I sure as hell don't have the patients/money to deal with PC gaming plus I'm a Nintendo nut who will not want to miss out on games like Xenoblade, Super Mario, Zelda,Kirby,DKC ect
