Who is being naive? I'm under the impression that had Capcom wanted it to, then DR3 would have been a launch title for both systems, but when Microsoft intervened with what ever amount of money they offered. Capcom was sold, and went exclusive. I don't for a second doubt this.
It is a shame that the launch titles are getting low reviews, but it shouldn't put people of their chosen systems. The generation hasn't even begun yet and there is a lot to play for. Many games will be announced from great studios on top of those that are already revealed. This is the warm up stage to entice us.
With the heavy competition between ms and Sony, I think we are in fora treat this generation as we see things being pushed furtherance further

I'm all for technology evolving and pushing the boundaries, but it's going to take a massive leap for mobile gaming to push out the console system. The only way I see it happening is if the mobile device can be docked and used as a home console seamlessly. Game on the go, controller at home.
I think it would be hard to review both ps4 and xb1 this early in the launch because a lot of things need to be ironed out and implemented. The consoles will evolve much more of the next few years and will more than likely boast many additional capabilities between then and now.
Games won't change once released, systems will.

You complaining about a title that comes free with ps+? I understand your concerns, but I don't think it is a valid point. We played FPS in the 90's, should we stop making those? We had football games in the 90's. why can a company not take an old concept and redefine it? Corridor style games are just an evolution to side scrollers. Let the creative be creative and offer new experiences.
This game looks incredible. Big fan of this studios work and can see a lot of positive things in their future.
No excuse at all, if you look through my history, I want comment saying how I want Microsoft to do well because it's healthy to have the competition and it pushes the industry further. My thoughts where just that, thoughts. Microsoft themselves started processing last week, which was very early. just curious is all....

Not negative, more in line with the companies current attitude. You say it's due to demand, but since the ps4 has it beat on preorders and they aren't charging yet on shopto, it makes me question why one console and not the other.

If we was all an all digital world on our consoles systems, then perhaps it would be the same case as with steam where you download and pay for what you want and it can be used on any system. But the fact is, consoles are not going all digital and personally, nor would I want them to. I love the physical product and I like being able to look at what i've brought on my shelves rather than switching on a computer to look through a digital library.
