Stuff like this is good for gaming, especially when it comes to replay ability. I like being able to pay a game and find it fresh the second, third run through.
Keep up the good work and looking forward to having a blast
I remember the original announcement and I couldn't wait for it back then. I do wonder what they have install for the ps4 though....
I like local multiplayer, it's more sociable. Yes it has some downsides, but it was so good. I used to spend hours on the Medal of Honour Rising Sun with my friend playing against the bots. It just feels better than speaking through a mic.
This makes me excited for the direction gaming is heading. By all means I don't think every game needs to look as real as possible because it just wouldn't suit games like Limbo, as it is no their art direction, but for games such as battlefield, killzone etc...
I've really want a WW2 game to be made for next gen and i'd love to see technology like this implemented into it.
I know this article is talking about the benefits of being able to stream gameplay but imagine if real money betting was implemented into games as an official feature, it could easily get out of control. I know for a fact I would throw some money into the ring, and I bet people would take team death matches more seriously.
Gambling is very addictive though, and if that was combined with some of my favourite online games, I would be screwed.
I think the title is a little misleading here. He is talking specifically about the Kinect microphone automatically being on in multiplayer which then broadcasts everything being said to who ever is in the server.
I agree that the microphone shouldn't automatically be on and you should choose to enable that feature rather than having to disable it. Do all games come with an in game indicator that shows you the mic is on?
Sounds cool.
Really need to get a set of these.
I really do hope that developers continue to utilise the capabilities of both systems and push them to their individual limits.
I don't like aiming for parity when more can be achieved.
That's a lot of space. Think they would comfortably be able to put the entire Playstation (original) Catalogue onto two disks?
Release isn't too far away, which means, nor is the truth.
I must admit an open world game set in the future by rockstar really does sound appealing. Bounty hunters comes to mind...
Hahahaha no, conpletely misubderstood. I was just saying how good Zelda was. Read my comment furter up... Ps2 was the one and i want ps4 to replicate its success.
Zelda for the N64 says it all, I got unbelievably lost in that game. It was fantastic.
The PS2 was fantastic, I never had a single issue with that piece of beauty. But I really do want to see the PS4 replicate, if not, out do what the standard the PS2 set. It's just a different market now with higher expectations.
I like the way Jung looks at this, I believe that it is true that it will be a massive market in the years to come but first and foremost, competition is healthy. I'm excited to see the advances that will occur in the future, let alone test the initial launch service out!
I think you may have misread my initial post... It is too expensive to keep up with the pace of advancing technology for PC's. I can't afford to build a high end gaming PC, then continuously upgrade it every so many years in order to stay up to date with best that is available.
I am after simplicity, and the cheaper gaming consoles offer me that. I buy a game, I put it in, it plays. No having to worry whether my system can handle it. But again, I haven't said tha...
There is a lot to consider outside of the story, they need to get the art direction right, pick the right cast and director. The game was perfect, but film has too many ways to ruin it.
Mandatory purchase isn't a better deal, having the option to buy the accessory is. I haven't brought the ps eye, nor do I intend to yet because there isn't anything it is used for that truly makes me push to get one, but no doubt in the future I will end up with one, but I get a choice in that matter.
I'm really looking forward tk gaming moving into this direction and really hope that it catches on because the possibilities are fantastic, there is really a chance to push gaming further and make this gen an amazing one.
