Sony should have just released a patch for those that have internet and for those who don't, they should be informed at time of purchase that if they will either have to wait for a week, or they can exchange their copies in a week for the updated ones. Everyone wins.

I agree with you...whatever happened to "sticks and stones..."? I am just glad that the delay is minimal...The delay isn't as bad as the reasons behind it.

I wonder which religion is going to be the most hated from now on? You would think that being angry at the muslim community over a video game would seem childish and immature, yet I would think the same thing about making a company spend who knows how much to accommodate some religion over a video game when you can simply not buy it.
Sony should release LBP as scheduled then allow for an "optional" patch to those who are offended and instead of chosing the "not buy it option" can install said "optional" patch. Everybody wins!

If LBP is delayed due to any form of organized religion, it would show one of the many problems with organized religion. In potentially offending some minority, they would be essentially offended the majority...What ever happened to "If I don't like something then I won't buy it"?

Thought you learned from our discussion earlier...M$ is spending all of there money on trying to get exclusives from Sony to go mutliplat while Sony is focusing on getting new IPs. Why is that a good thing for M$?
Agreed...most games sell the most during the first week, but I think that this game will actually gain momentum and sales will increase after people start seeing it/playing it!
These comparisons are getting ridiculous. Are they trying to imply that if I have a PS3, but the 360 version of a game looks slightly better, that I am going to buy another console just for the minor visual difference that may or may not be seen on MY television?
