I found the problem with the demo was that it took less time to complete it, than it did to download it...also the blonde that helps you out in the tutorial looks awful

I think you hit the nail on the head...I was waiting for the game to direct me, but as soon as I took 'control', I found the game to be very rewarding.
I had buyer's remorse, but I forced myself to go back to the game (mainly for trophies). It wasn't until last night that I found myself enjoying the game. I think the main part of it was when I started unlocking the weapons. I was contemplating trading in (after having it only a week) but now I have realized that it is a keeper! I haven't even played the multiplayer or used the map editor and still find the game (now) to be awesome!

It can't always be about graphics...I like the idea that a 10 should be given to a game that you remember after a few years because it was fun...Ocarina of Time has crap graphics compared to today's standards, but the game is still fun....I remember it for the gameplay and the withdrawl I went through when I finally finished it.
I'm not a big fan of the 'ball' on the end of each controller...or the 'removable' faceplates.
It seems more people WANT Blu-ray to die vs Think Blu-ray will die...They are not estimating based on any numbers or facts. I find they are usually 1 of 2 people:
1. They bought into HD DVD and don't want to be the only ones who got screwed (misery loves company) or
2. They don't have a Blu-ray player, and don't want to feel that they are missing out so hope that DD will become the main source of HD media

1. There are about a million ways to work around to get pretty much any effect you need (the only reason I say "million" is due to my own lack of imagination).
2. Yes the PS Eye is only 2 mp, but there are other webcams with much better quality. Also, if you could upload any pic you wanted, some of the file sizes of the levels would be larger than the levels alone.
3. There are programs that have texture editors and what not, and they alone cost a few hundr...
