I am not surprised the "Master" got "beat off"
The game is amazing, but I disagree with the single player review. I find the single player to be amazing...especially with the draw distance! You really get a feel for the size of each level and how insignificant you feel in comparison to the Massive enemies as well as the enemy ships that are hovering in real-time. There was a point in one of the levels where I stood upon a roof top and could see 3 or 4 'Mother ships' that had to be 500 feet in height at a distance of at least a couple of m...
PS3 is like the high class club that you need to pay a cover to get in...It practically polices itself by not allowing 11 year olds like pp to play it!
1 serious reason is fear of the RROD...that is one of the reasons that I don't own it...another is the cost adds up if want all the extras...XBL account/wifi/HDD...If you want the arcade and don't need any of the extras, and aren't afraid of RROD, then 199 is a steal.

M$ was losing on everyone of it's consoles before any price drop...what makes you think they are breaking even now?
M$ just wanted to say they would be getting DLC in an attempt to sway potential PS3 buyers...I don't think they care so much as to when it is released.
