My only question is whether or not the new machines (the ones made after June/July of this year) are still getting RRoD....I know that RRoD is still happening, but are the new ones as susceptible?
Apparently the game isn't for everyone, but there aren't many people who don't enjoy it. Everyone on my friend list loves the game...myself incuded.

It's funny how they use "retailers" to determine that RRoD numbers have been dropping...I'm pretty sure that you have to call M$ to get a box to return your 360 in order for it to be "repaired"...Unless you have a warranty thru the retailer (such as Bestbuy), you wouldn't return the 360 to them....Of course their numbers at the retailers are going to drop...They aren't receiving the F'd up units!

I am not trying to defend Jay, but I think his point abou M$ selling consoles with RRoD affecting so many consoles, is valid. I don't know how M$ is able to push a console that is known for having an extremely high defective rate?!?

I'm with you...my buddy and I were playing it and it was really fun the first time thru...then we got over it...He is already trading it in...Graphics are weak / single player is boring and it just doesn't have the longevity that a 60$ game should have....Needless to say, we were both disappointed...maybe we expected too much from Valve?
