It's not up right now for a reason, think of how many PPL in the USA are gonna be playing this game??? Konami's only makng sure their servers are ready for the massive ammounts of log ins, and game creations.

The way i see it, UK players deserve the right to gain access to beta before USA.

^ If you have the Metal Gear Saga w/ the Serial Code, you can't download it from the PSN store.
Read it dude, you have to go to account management, transaction management, and then redeem promotion code.
Enter your serial number, then it'll give you the MGSO beta download.
The online manual is up and running, yet the American servers are still in-active.

The man conquered the PS3 console, thinking he wouldnt be able to scratch the surface, but he touched ground. Now he's bored... go figure.
Kojima-san being disappointed in his own vision, is like the knowing the sun is hot. It's a no brainer, everyone who's familiar with Kojima, or the Sun knows how he ( it ) opperates.
This makes me want the game even more.
Seeing as how I still ha my ps2 controllers, an AlienWare controller w/ usb & PS2 ports. I don't have a problem buying the new controllers... I need more controllers now seeing as how my girlfriend is becoming interested in the PS3 more now.
Besides would you much rather spend 55 on a new controller with rumble, or pay for a totally new system like how alot of the 360 supporters have, or will have to do in the near future.
How could you have been playing the first MGO when the servers been down for almost a year, if not more than that???

Im one of the 4% of PS3 owners that had their system die out on them. I go to boot it up, the light turns green, changes to yellow, and the starts flashing red.
Manual says that it means that the system has overheated, yet my PS3 hasnt been on, this isnt newly discovered information, just not as common as the 360's RROD.
How long will the download be available??? My PS3 gained the flashing red lights of death. I wont get another untill monday... which is the 21st.
I have my beta code from Gamestop, I even applied for the US beta through Konami just cause... but will the download only be available on the 17th??? If so ...

So I can play the PS1 games I own on my PSP, aswell as the snes, genesis, and ect. So I can use the youtube program and watch youtube, there are so many reasons.
I used my PS1, PS2, and my PS3 ( the current alpha console ) to play CD's. I would use the DVD to PSP feature, but Im not paying for that software... so I just download dvdrips. :)
It seems like ever since the PS3 has been released, hardcore 360 fans been trying to find something about their system to prove it's better.
GTAIV has downloadable content yes, how great will be it, we don't know.
As far as custom soundtracks. DOn't speak to soon, custom soundtrack is a firmware update away for the PS3.
Controller??!!! Let's not even get into that.
Buy the game for the console you enjoy, Im getting it for the PS3. See you al...
To all of you who are saying that PS3 and the PSN is garbage because the beta is delayed should use your brains.
Japan has their beta working, because obviously they were prepared and knew their people were gonna play.
As far as US, & UK... you got alot of impatient morons who would create 5 Konami ID's, pre-order more than one copy of MGS4 just to sell the others, and or have multiple serial codes just in case.
