The PS2 didnt allow you to pay... why should you when your already paying to have an online service provider??? Microsoft was trying to make money back off the customer anyway they can, to make up for the shotty product.

I've had my PS3 since its been released, been following @Home for the longest, aswell as watching every single walkthrough video and such... just for me to constantly keep hearing about an update for something that I cannot get my hands on pisses me off...

Check the number of ppl playing MGO around 5pm your time... There's atleast 2900 ppl playing MGO. Most of them have the Expansion too...so... why is this even an issue??? Now ppl can offord the game to play MGO and buy the expansion plus have some extra cash.
Yet im sure they will make up for it... I somehow started out with 500 reward points, now I have 520..how i dunno.
Atleast you can play as Meryl, and Akiba during the Training mode... just gotta select them as character.

The future is digital??? Digital been legendary, especially since napster. With that said, I got movie files larger than HD-DVD disc on my PS3...so wtf is a netflix... I got Netflix, only difference is I needs a torrent to rent.
Then you'll have Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep on the PSP aswell... and maybe a DS port.
The real RPG gamers are Sony Playstation, and Nintendo brand owners... period.
360 owners mostly play FPS, and action adventure games... and all the RPG's are nothing like the true video console rpg's we had on ps1, ps2, nintendo, and snes.
I bet you after the 360 release, they'll move it to the PC to gain even more money... doesnt it make sense???
Final Fantsy Versus XIII... that in my opinion looks waaaaay more entertaining, it's darker, and it grasped my attention especially witht he main character.
Hopefully the 360 adapters will have a larger disc space than 20gigs. Because seeing as how FF13 is being developed to fit on a Blu-Ray.
The only way for the 360 fans to gain the same experience is to install most of the game to the HDD... this is possible because it's being developed for the PC first.

what about MGO and it's DLC... Konami refused to give Sony the right to post it on PSN so they'll get a share... so how will Microsoft work that out??? Seeing as how you HAVE TO USE XBOX LIVE TO PLAY ONLINE... with that said, Konami will have to give Microsoft a share of it's content, and game.... will that happen???

The 360 has like no good RPG, no matter what you fools say... Fable and Too Human is the best thing going for the 360 and those arent even true RPGS... now you guys will get to play a real RPG.

If the 360 is getting it so what!! Atleast the 360 owners will experience what a real RPG is suppose to feel like. Who cares I know im buying it for the PS3... no doubt.
Especially when I know for a fact the 360 version is going to be more than one disc, unless it's on a Dual-Layer HD-DVD, and we all know what you Xbots need to play that.
And as far as No Disc install, the 360 is adopting that. Seeing how they have 9gig DVD's to work with, and limited hard-disc space...
Microsoft can't do this forever, spending millions and millions of dollars to companies... just so they can have a leg up against the PS3...
