This shows how awesome Hideo Kojima, Yoji Shinkawa, and the rest of the MGS staff are. They took a old character that everyone hated, and turned him into a character that you desire to play as. Sick.
Xbox Live is a great service. Yet I've never been kicked, or randomly dumped off the PSN. I've experienced a few laggy games when people try and create their own room, that's about it.
I've owned a 360, It didnt appeal to me. So I will be getting this for the PS3. Especially since Im a PS1, and PS2 owner... i've gotten use to the controller and hate 360's.
I've been playing FFXI on my PS3 since before the firmware update, and I installed it... it works... wtf is this crap.

What's the largest HDD available for 360 users?? 20 gigs right? 20gigs to download Arcade games, demos, DL content, and whatnot?
The GTAIV exclusive content will not be that large, it's definitely not going to be on a Vice City / San Andreas scale.
Only way is if the graphics are on a Vice City / San Andreas scale... think about how many gigs that's be to download a totally new map, the size of San Andreas, with GTA IV's high definition graphics, and crazy artificial...
^ If Sony had an option for where you had to pay, in order to get service anywhere on your psp. I would pay, but only if it's reasonable, ya know... like 2dollars a month, or 50 a year. I would pay that.
Because I hate it when Im in a bad area, no hotspots, because I dont have wireless internet at home. And the psp isnt meant to be played at home.
I never did like any game that was similar, or tried to have the same concept as GTA. I really hate the Mafia games, those old...slow ass cars, I really hate that crap. Gimmie a game with some fun, not some " I wanna be the Last Don. " rubbish.
Can you imagine a brand new psp sku with a nice size "Oled" screen, and the same cell chip as the PS3. I mean Sony are working on a smaller cell chip.
No matter what, if they decide to release a PSP2... it will be a thousand times better than the PSP.

Ofcourse people are all hot over Achievements & Gamer Points. 360 was the only console to dominate @ it's time, and with a bunch of brainless dromes following behind whatever Microsoft puts out there. Ofcourse they will eat it up, especially when there's nothing better to do.
Now, when PS3 implements "Rewards" into home, you'll see how Achievements are suppose to be done.

If they release a new 360 SKU with a built in Blu-Ray drive... blu-ray drives arent cheap people... HD-DVD drives are.
Ultimately, it's not the Blu-Ray media that makes the PS3 so powerfull... it's the cell chip. They'll never get the right to that chip in their console, only way is if they pay Sony Bill Gates yr. salary 360X's.
Not only that, the Blu-Ray isn't just a kick ass video viewing format. It pushes gaming past last generations DVD9 rubbish. Look @ MGS4.
set a new standard on how next-generation games are suppose to be created. Not just visuals, but content wise, Kojima and his team reminds me alot of Rockstar North. Not only do they make their games for their audience, they give it to you so that it could be replayed constantly without ever getting tired of the gameplay.
I remember downloading this trailer last year, and the first thing my girl said was " How come you didn't get that game?? "
All I could say was, " It's not out yet. " But after downloading it yesterday and playing it, she could'nt take her eyes off it.

That's 400 extra bucks onto your 400 price tag. That's over 800$ plus tax. 200$ more than the PS3's initial price. and 300$ more than PS3's current price. Plus I bet they'll drop the price another 50$ before the year is out.

If 360 has the #1 spot, PS3 should be atleast #2. Simply because the only thing the 360 has over the PS3 is it's Live service, and it's abundance in game selection. That's it.
