I don't care what you say, there arent any FPS's, action, or any game for that matter that has great gameplay, and an excellent story line like Metal Gear. Only one I can think of are in a totally different genre, RPG. Which have better stories than gameplay so that doesnt count.
Once it got to the shoes, I thought it was an add... it looks photo releastic. Almost better than GT5 graphics. I'll be even more impressed if the character models look as good.
You'll be paying for a really cool rpg that hold you over till ff 13... plus if it comes with a FFXIII demo, that's a good thing aswell.

So Sonys true competition is not Xbox360, the Nintendo Wii, or some other console that will soon come out. Sony's true competition in gaming are PC's. So they try and incorporate PC aspects into their system.

Just use a Pre-Paid visa, or MasterCard....
The trick is to create a new user, a new psn then add the pre-paid card number. I found this out after my account got deleted.
If you try to add a pre-paid card to an existing account it'll say it isnt valid, or you enter the wrong CC information.
Yet by creating a new user, and entering the information as it asks you, it works like a charge. Trust me... i dont have a credit card, or a checking account to have ...
I know MGS isn't a FPS, but MGS4 aswell as MGO2 have the FPS camera angel option, aswell as thirdperson, and over the shoulder... so c'mon you gotta add it in multiple categories because it's not linear in that aspect.
why didn't they include MGO2??? I bet it'll own Halo 3 even w/ it's 5 starter map. c'mon over 70weapons, customizable characters, MGS4 engine!! This will sh!t on quite a few games in 08.

but if the 360 had exclusive rights to an online multiplayer mode, I would buy a 360 and sign up for XBOX live, just for GTA4... no question.
Sadly the 360 version will be slightly better because Xbox Live has a better method of connecting you to your friends. Hopefully Sony will get their sh!t together by the time this & MGS4 with MGO2 is releaSed.
They can't slack on that, We'll need in game music, in game chat and or message sending, and HOME!!!
The only problem is that it isnt an option. Forcing the player to do this is what's making it a big deal. It's cool to be able to preserve your Blu-Ray lense, that's a good idea... but they shouldnt force the gmaer to install... because not everyone have the extra gigs.
If your like me, you'll have over 30 gigs of music, and movie files... and if you add the demos and other crap that's we'll over the 80 gig standard.

After Halo 3, the 360 got all of its consumers then... nobody is looking to buy a 360 at all... seriously.
I love free MMO's like these... like RumbleFighter, KartRider, ect. ... this is why I enjoy PC gaming at times.
A true gamer, no matter what will choose Saints Row, or any game of the genre for that matter over Grand Theft Auto, let alone a Rockstar developed game... something's either seriously wrong with gamers today in this era, or Editors / bloggers have absolutely nothing to talk about.
Choosing Saints Row over GTA, is like choosing Splinter Cell over Metal Gear... or Shaq Fu over Street Fighter. Why cheat yourself??
