However, Dante has got to prove it first. GOW is not revered as one of the most amazing franchises for nothing. Kratos already has my $, sight unseen. Dante is going to have to come out guns blazing, balls to the wall to even come close.

Seriously, you guys sound like a room full of Cliff Clavins when you go on about NPD’s and sales numbers etc. The only difference is you sound 10X as geeky because you only specialize in spouting off about video games. At least the original Cliff Clavin had a vast array of knowledge ranging from a myriad of fields.

I'm happy for Sony's success. After giving me so many amazing games, and an amazing system, I have to stand and slow-clap for these guys. Keep the hits coming and we will all be happy campers.
First off, I love my 60GB PS3. It's not even new, I bought it second hand online. I can't believe that anyone would be stupid enough to sell one of these now highly-sought-after systems. My system is going strong after all this time. I played Batman AA, for a good few hours last night without any mishaps. I think that PS3 system failures are a rare event.
On another note, if it does break down one day, does anyone know if Sony will be able to repair it? I don't care about the cos...
The full game has been available for import for quite some time now... Anyway, I too am waiting anxiously for this hardest of the hardcore games. I was always a sideline fan of dungeon crawlers like Kings Field etc, but the technical shortcomings always stood in the way of me playing any of them to completion on my ps2. Demon's Souls looks to me to be a vast upgrade to all of those games. It just looks so intense. I have the special edition preordered on Amazon, along with Uncharted 2. Killzo...

We all know that Uncharted will never be on 360 because of the relationship with sony, but what they are really saying is that this caliber of game, this graphical fidelity, and this processing power will never be on the 360. They are saying that even if one of Microsoft's own studios tried to keep pace with what Naughty Dog is accomplishing on the PS3 that it could not be done with the current hardware.

You get deveolpers that really have a love for what they do, and have a passion for their project. I'm not psychic, but I know that all of you are going to feel the dedication and commitment ND put into this game in every lavish pixel. Absoultely a must own game in every sense.
