“Not for me”? What gamer can look at either console and say that it’s” not for me?” Please explain why a real gamer would not ideally want to have both of the next gen consoles? Hell , you could even throw the wii in there, it has some great games too.
If you proclaim to like games, what is so fundamentally different about the games on the 360 vs the games on the PS3 that would make you just completely ignore either of them?
It’s just some dumb-ass article written by some creeping pond scum. As a owner of a PS3 & a 360, I couldn’t be more happy with gaming at the moment. If you need something to be mad at, be mad that there is no way that one person can possibly play all of these amazing games.
This price drop is just what the doctor ordered. That $100 barrier was a stumbling block for many people on the fence. Now, they just got pushed off that fence with one blow. More PS3’s sold = more games...

You took me back with that Freedom Fighters!Such a great game! I would also recommend Soul Reaver, which is a real amazing immersive game, even by PS1 standards.
And many more gems that I have yet to find time to play. I wish that I didn't have to do this whole "work for money" thing. That would really free up my time to address my backlog of games.

Halo has all the cards in it's favor - a perfect storm if you will.
It is a huge franchise, an internationally recognized brand, it's backed by massive advertising dollars & marketing. Halo is synonymous with xbox. If you own a 360, at some point you WILL own a copy of halo3. No ifs ands or buts about it. Hell, I even own it and I don't even play the darn thing.

All of this nonsense has nothing to do with my enjoyment of a game. I care about my money, and my game preferences. These sales stories need to stop. All it does is rile up immature adolescents looking for bragging rights.
I bought Phsychonauts for my 360 because it was a great game. Guess what? It sold horribly. I bought KZ2 because I loved the beta & demo. My clan & I still play KZ2 on the regular and still have loads...

Any rational person could tell you, having both systems is the way to go. I prefer to play like a shifty arms dealer, taking my business to both sides of the fence. If either SONY or MS failing gives you a woody because of your bias, you seriously need to put down the pocket protector and get a life.

The only way you can "confirm" that sony will not be saved (and let me re-iterate, they DO NOT need saving) is the day they announce that they are ceasing operations worldwide. Despite your chromosome-deficient hopes, you will continue to see Sony do business and make more money than you will ever see for quite some time.
