If you buy the ps3 version you can play on steam for FREE.. Meaning you can play a version of the game until PSN is brought back online.. Also as a bonus whenver you do get back on psn you can pick up where you left off on the steam version thanks to the cloud saving... But of course the impatient gamer would rather play on a paid for service right?

I dont know about you all but I just don't like the maps in killzone 3.. They're to "busy" for me and I dont enjoy them near as much as the maps in kz2... Im happy about the retro pack so I can play the maps I know and love.. Is radec academy in there too??

Forza and gears are plenty core but the problem is thats it.. ON top of that you have to wait until the end of the year to play either of them.. Sony has exclusive coming out nearly every month it seems like.. We already had killzone 3, move heroes, mlb the show, and little big planet 2 and we're only 4 months in.. We have infamous 2, uncharted 3, resistance 3, motorstorm apocalypse, the last gurardian(hopefully) etc..
@palaeomerus Wow since when does a company have to be a conglomerate like ea or activision to have AAA games??? I could care less what your opinion of ps3 exclusives are it doesn't change the fact that they are high profile games that generally all sell well above a million copies..

The only thing that commercials do is raise awareness.. They do nothing in regards to someone's decision to purchase it.. Basically for the people out their who do not follow gaming news but are still consumers of video games will see the commercial and the branding will either stick with them or it wont... You can't learn enough information about ANYTHING in a 30 second tv ad.. You have to grab the audiences attention and "plant that seed".. They will seek knowledge on their own.. Being memorable and funny is faaaarrrr more valuable then an informative commercial.. Why do you think companies pay milions of dollars to have a 30 second commerical that is all humor? We as human beings are moved by humor and it resonates with us, trust me they know what they are doing....
