@otherzinc There's a reason you only have one bubble and your "subjective" comment points to that... SMH
EXACTLY, the fragmentation of Sony's internal divisions created interdepartmental lag that led to alot of convoluted deals, products, and services.. I love the new agressive approach they are taking and I hope it pays dividends.. I've been a faithful Sony supporter since I spend my own hard earned money on products.. They rarely ever let me down..
I hope that this means Cloud saving storage will increase.. I've already reached my cap with PS+
@tordavis
Metal gear solid 4 is not a shooter lets get that straight. Also those titles represent a small part of Sony's massive catalog of exclusives. The uncharted series, heavy rain, little big planet, gran turismo 5, god of war 3, MLB the show, ratchet and clank, journey, flow, flower, mod nation racer, wipeout etc etc etc... I could keep going but the point is when it comes to diversity and quality Sony is where its at..
There's no way that Nintendo is going to launch a console with dramatic specs and keep it affordable.. Look at the 500 million alone it cost sony to co-develop the cell processor that helped them win the graphics war but they were selling consoles for a loss at $599... Nintendo would die fast if they launched an expensive console..
"MUDDY" Serioulsy? I play MW3 on the ps3 everyday and I've had no issues with the sticks on the ds3. I enjoy the soft feel of the DS3 sticks.. I maintain a 1.79 KDR with those "muddy" sticks... Not the controllers fault you can't use it well..
@2pacalypsenow Are you kidding me? He averaged 14.2 Points per game at Kentucky.. He was a point guard before he grew 7 inches in one year and switched to a more defensive role.. There's a reason he's the number one overall draft pick this year...
As long as people reply with tact and respect others opinions it should be a great debate.. It's safe to say that neither company will be dropping out of the console market anytime soon.. Both are way to invested and have large userbases, the bitterness should be non existent. Coke and pepsi, mcdonalds and burger king, dish and direc tv all coexist so why can't microsoft and sony?
Whatever happens I don't see Sony allowing Microsoft the one year advantage they enjoyed with the 360. Sony has proven that they belong in the home console market and I have all the confidence that they will make the right choices with the ps4..
Better question is why are we even arguing this? It's obvious that ps3 games sell and usually sell enough to justify the production of that game. Thats all that matters, sony continues to pump out Unique AAA exclusives by the truck load so they will get my business.. This bickering over every little detail is getting old...
Mario kart using the second screen as a rear view so you can see opponents/weapons coming at you would be a great idea... Metroid with the overworld map and item management etc... I like those ideas... But Call of Duty? No thanks Nintendo..
Not to mention they think that "core" gamers are going to ditch their online identies on XBL/PSN for a brand new unproven system and a controller with a screen on it...
Seems like a rather asinine assumption on their part.. I'm not forgoing my PSN identity in favor of the wii u..
@NukeItAll Don't play innocent, you used purposefull wording knowing that it would incite this.. When it comes to trolling you are near the top. You singled out XBL using the wording
"The main reason being, that the Xbox Live is superior for voice and party chat."
Choosing to leave the PSN out of your statement even though its a relative component in this conversation was boung to incite a flame war... It's safe to say that Psn/XBL are bo...
Their Logic was that you can "declutter" the screen by pulling maps and what not down to the gamepad but with a game like call of duty those items need to be right there in your peripherials, taking you eyes off the screen can ruin a killstreak and lead to loss of momentum.. Sorry nintendo but the screen will not serve a purpose in the online competitive arena as far as call of duty is concerned...
7 games on your 360 list are multiplatform.. How is that more exclusives? Sony is releasing more UNIQUE exclusive games then anyone else. Arguing exclusives is pointless..
Look the ps3 is miles more powerful then the ps2 ever was and with the advent of online services for these consoles all it takes to improve the performance you can squeeze out is firmware updates.. Simple as that, the ps3 will still see support for years after the ps4 launches..
You're forgetting that if they win the decision to ban the sales of 360's in the states then they would be forced to end this quickly... Either way you look at it microsoft will hemorage money through this and it will hurt them..
Soldier he's just a sony hater and any reasonable opinion in favor of the ps3 obviously angers him so let him fume in his own little world... Just a troll..
But with a ps3 you also have access to the playstation movie store and you can rent or buy and save them to your hard drive..
Except with playstation plus its a CHOICE and you get more then one rare free game.. You get ALOT of free games. I downloaded $180 of free games this past month alone and I've been a plus member since the begining..
