Couldn't agree more, for whatever reason everyone still has this perception that sony is struggling to sell consoles. I'm sorry but coming from over 10 million down to bring it within a couple million is impressive enough on its own. Not to mention that every time Sony makes a move to improve their sales microsoft comes right in and pulls a "me too" stunt... I think Sony should just keep being Sony and we will continue to flock to their systems and content...
I can't remember the last time I had a game with a "mandatory" installation.. That trick is a thing of the past now that sony has considerably reduced the memory footprint of the OS.
I buy games full price to help support the developers that make my favorite games.. You act like making a game is a small investment whenever its a HUGE financial gamble... I don't sweat 60 bucks for a game especially when its a high quality game..

Yes the ps3 was difficult for developers to sink their teeth into intially but thats because of the complex structure of the cell.. ThatGameCompany is one of the most important studios for Sony IMHO and I hope and pray that Sony can absorb them to keep the top shelf exclusives rolling into the ps4 and beyond..
GtaIV was a HUGE leap forward in terms of graphical prowess compared to the previous entries. Rockstar spent most of their time improving the graphics engine and physics hence why the stripped down feel of activities in the game.. This is purely opinion, for me and millions of others the social experience on PSN is the better experience. Just like iPhone users and droid users both feel their respective platforms are superior. It all comes down to the end user and their experience there's no definitive "lithmus" test to determine superiority whenever they both offer the same basic features.
So you mean to tell me that losing access to your games with PSN+ once you stop paying is any different then losing access to the right to play your games online if you stop paying for LIVE? It's no different, except you can always play online for free with PSN. You are splitting hairs, and the idea that the social aspect of LIVe is better is all preference.. They both allow you to play games online, connect with friends, as well as other social activities...
What do sony's numbers look like with the ps2 still factored in? Just curious considering they technically still have 4 devices on sale..
