200 cars, 14 tracks, no day/night cycle, and no dynamic weather(I wont even get into the down graded visuals over the E3 presentation) isn't racing game of the year material..

@drsfinest So what happens when you fill the internal drive with game data? My 500 gig on my PS4 is already well below 400 thanks to a 64 gig Killzone install, 30 something AC IV install and the 3 downloadable PS+ games.. Also Iit doesn't matter if you have a solid state or hybrid external drive.. Current USB 3.0 ports cannot transfer data at a speed anywhere near the hi speed internal connections that consoles have and the direct link to the APU..
But history has also taught us that Sony's long term support of their consoles is drastically better than Microsoft.
Take this past year as an example. Sony has released God of War: Ascension, the Last of Us, Beyond: Two Souls, Puppeteer, and now GT6.. Sony easily could have forced that content onto the PS4 to bolster the launch lineup so they could plug ads and marketing propoganda but they didnt.. Why? Because they genuinely care about their fans.

USB powered external harddrives are slower than internal drives.. its only viable for media storage for videos and music, game content not so much..
This is precisely why I don't gravitate towards multitasking devices.. I have to do memory dumps on my phone daily so video playback and basic internet navigation works. Apps suddenly close or terminate and its incredibly frustrating. I see the exact same issues occuring with X1. I think having 3 simultaneous OS's was an ambitious idea but the execution is flawed.

Did you see how perfectly stable the car remained under hard braking in Forza? Not realistic, especially when those braking flaps pop up which can alter a car's handling dynamic.. In GT6 you can ser little wiggles and the back end try to come around and the car's dynamic braking compensating.. GT has always been the gold standard in physics and handling..
Did anyone else notice the slight wiggles on GT6 as the driver was getting on the brakes? Or how the back would try to slide out under hard acceleration? GT physics are incredible holds its own against a next gen game in the graphics department. Love it :0)

@Azznation You misquoted.. Nintendo is Japans third most valuable company based on market value.. They literally don't have $86 billion dollars in cash rather the combined value of all their assests including the mario, zelda, donkey kong, and metroid ip's aadd up to $86 billion.
Ohh by the way Sony made $121 billion in profit in 2013 and have a positive equity of $28 billion meaning they are not in debt or financially unstable as you are insinuating..
