This game is going to be awesome. You know Nintendo wants it to be special by the extra time they are taking. Glad I have a Wii U to play it. I know I would be truthfully jealous if I didn't.
And if it comes to the NX as well, you still need a NX...lol
They are hanging on to a 300,000 measly console lead. As if Wii U won't dead this argument by Christmas..lol
Tough titty, so what...lol. They will sell another 2 million worldwide or more this holiday while PS4 sells 6 million. Anyway, it will dead this "behind the Dreamcast" nonsense.
I am greatly looking forward to Zelda, and that will move a few more consoles too. Wii U will probably tap out around 15-18 million if they ever drop the price to $150.
On a positive note, owners of both consoles seem to enjoy the games. At the end of the day, that's al...
They have already confirmed it's coming to the Wii U...jeez. Whether or not it comes to the NX is the only question.
It seems many Wii U critics are secret NX lovers or something..lol
I like all 5 things. Here they are:
1. No region locking.
2. Games, games and more games.
3. Online ecosystem that rivals PSN/XLive
4. Amiibo support continuing. (yes they should with all the support Amiibo's have gotten from fans.)
5. They will drop the "Wii" brand.
I hope they keep the name NX. "Mario NX" for short just sounds awesome. I feel like they need to make a clear divide between handhelds and ...
You'll pick it up without seeing a game you want though? Just based off power? I am only asking and not judging. I need to know how some gamers think when it comes to specs even without a system seller announced.
"Now You're Playing With Power.......NX Power"? :)
I just thought of something funny. What if these developers are complaining about Nintendo having "too much power". lol
Happy B-Day NES! The system that started it all for me!
Nintendo NX should be cool enough to woo Rockstar Games to want to release their games on it.
I actually agree. Nintendo still makes awesome games and the Wii U has essentially become fan service and it's all fun. But the mainstream is what they want. The hardcore gamers money is what they need. And that is what the NX should be about.
Sure, they might not "win" against Sony. But they can get back in the game with a 50-60 million selling, critically acclaimed and universally loved home console!
You said it best. A big game LIBRARY of quality games from all parties is the key to winning.
Of course you are right but "da power" actually matters to many gamers. 1080p/60 fps matters to MANY gamers. If Nintendo can afford it, it should be at least as powerful as a PS4.
Metroid would look very gorgeous pushing realism buddy.
Every developer doesn't have to use the power to make great games....but it should be as powerful if not more powerful than PS4 just so any current or future third party game can run on the system.
Nintendo should aim for NES numbers for home consoles 50-60 million. And 100 million+ for handhelds.
To the disagree: please wake up. It's 2015. Sony is the big dog in the home console space. With the right technology (and games), Nintendo can compete head...
If NX is truly BC with Wii U software, then Nintendo can continue to produce Wii U games to at least 2017/18 and they would sell to NX owners as well. :)
If they take the care they did re-making Wind Waker to HD and give Twilight Princess a HD remaster too....dump it!!!! I'm buying. lol
Negative Nancy, Debbie Downer..is that you? lol
Does anyone (tech wizards) know what will be high end in late 2016 or early 2017? I understand they have to build it and produce it....so it won't be whatever the highest specs affordable at launch because they had to produce it a year back.
I guess I'm asking what could they get away with for $500? And would that even be possible at a profit day 1?
Thanks. :)
If the console is really high end tech, I can justify paying a higher price. Not $599 high though (I still have love for my PS3 BTW)..lol.
Keep the name NX not Nii ....lol
I enjoy my Wii U as well. Love Mario Kart 8 and it's my number one in the series. I know the new Zelda will be something magical to remember Wii U for.
