Agreed but I've always prioritised the gameplay and fun factor over the correct names of players and teams etc.
PES always had a good editor for renaming them anyway and getting realistic looking kits etc.
It's the fact the EA has a boring one that makes PES or e-football all the more necessary.

The 40Hz mode works so well because it syncs in with the refresh rate of 120Hz panels.
So a new frame is synced in with every 3rd refresh.
An 80Hz signal into a 120Hz panel would be unsynced with the refresh rate. As you would get a new frame every 1.5 refreshes.

I tend to agree however with gamepass access, a lot of people who might have skipped it because it's "too simmy" (is this even a thing) will get to try it out .
So you'll get casuals and hardcore gamers (and all other pigeonholes in between) trying it out. Some will love, some will hate it.

The game was awesome at 30fps. Doubling it's frame rate isn't going to change that love/hate relationship you have with it.
I doubted the game before its release. I wasn't exactly sold on the whole dinosaurs made from machinery and computers bit. But after giving it a play I couldn't really find much to fault with it. Great graphics, excellent story, good gameplay and combat mechanics etc.
