I've read some of the comics and yes I loved the movie. And there's still areas of his character I don't know which can be fleshed out in the game. He's still not as well known or understood as Peter Parker was.
Most however know even less than that so there's plenty of his character and back story which should make the story of the game interesting enough.
And starting to write your comment before you'd even got to the end of mine...

As a character, we don't know a whole lot about him. This game would be exploring his back story and revealing more of his character yet you appear to have made your mind up already.

I think it will definitely get a PS 5 upgrade but can't see it being included for free. Maybe a bundle.
I've still to complete the New Game + play through so it would be nice to do this on PS 5.

He's not suggesting all PC gamers would or do use it, just that it was an available exploit until they patched it out.

That will come in season 2 surely. They'll add new maps and modes as each season arrives.
I can see both sides of the argument here. It is meant to be fun but when you make one of the trophies is "win 5 games in a row” then you can see why some are annoyed. Their chance of ever getting it is lessened by these team games. It's just luck getting players who can help keep you in the game.
I still haven't won my first game so I know the 5 games in a row will probably never come, but I love the game cos it's a barrel of fun.
It speaks volumes of its perceived value that it's still selling at the higher price point
