Whilst I agree multiplayer shouldn't be locked behind a pay wall, I have absolutely no issues with PS+.
I support it because of the value for money it provides me. I've gotten far more from the service than I've put in.
Plus some gems of games I may not have otherwise tried.
Fair point Bathyj, I hit the reply button assuming he was at least using facts in his mud slinging attempt.

Except that there are other aspects to graphics other than resolution which it can improve on. Which is precisely the point Bathyj made.
The 480p display was a limitation decision from Sony based on price and the power available from the PS4.
Indeed, and it goes a long way in saying Sony aren't trying to force your hand on spending more (than you need to) to experience VR on PS5.
If you have PSVR already then that fits in well with their backwards compatibility strategy
The majority of this comments thread reads like a fanboy war in a creche lol
It was way better than average come on now.
That's stretching things a bit
I don't see any reason why not.
I've got 100% on the main game, DLC and bikes but have still to complete the VR version
You think the others didn't?
Motorstorm (particularly Pacific Rift) is a fabulous arcade racing series and can't argue with wanting another installment, but why not a PS4 game?
Because they are shutting the servers down the following spring. It's right there in the article
There isn't lol, but ars technica in their infinite wisdom try to provide us some anyway.
And failed lol
Lol, owned.
Nice rebuttal
This is definitely the area where MS run rings round Sony is in pushing and marketing their own products.
Can't argue that if more booths were visible sales would be even better than they are.
Good points as usual rainslacker. And even if they were to drop it, I think I've had good value for money from mine and lots of games still to play on it.
It's a fantastic piece of kit and a great way to experience games. I can only see things getting better for the platform
My first go of dirt rally in VR also drove me to a steering wheel and a seat.
Don't play dirt rally lol, things could get expensive.
You'll have a plentiful selection of good games to try if you eventually get one.
Yeah, first thing I thought when I read it too
That's not the only reason it is stupid either
Have you tried any sets so far?
With the right headset and right game for your tastes, I'm struggling to think why anyone would be on the fence about it other than affordability.
None, but stop asking questions to which you know the answer to.
That's nearly as pointless as this article which claims it's putting things into context
I'm failing to understand why this is classed as interesting.
The Wii had a much larger install base (at least 5 times as big) so why is it a surprise that it sold more copies of Mario Kart
