i just started playing the second demo.. It's like Horde mode and it is freaking fun! Day one for this bad boy!
When was the last time you played Gears? There is a lot of factors that can influence lag. I agree when the game first launched it was a mess like you state but after a few patches it was not bad at all, not perfect.
Trebius: What people had a problem with were the ones pretending everything on XBL was P2P and every thing on PSN was dedicated. (see darkside comment below for an example)
Which is completely false. They both use a mix and this is not the first dedicated server game on XBL, they've had them for years. PSN has more for its games however.

Most people just buy a second PS3 and never connect it online. Unless Sony show up at their house, and they better come with a small army, they aren't going to do jack squat if you are never connected.

Xino: Unfortunately piracy is a bi-product of homebrew. I agree I love the fact you can play Sega, Nintendo and PS1 and PS2 games on a hacked console but there are MANY out there using it for pirating major releases.
You can basically download every single PS3 game online now. From the exclusives to the multiplats they are all there for free. Not good for business.
Yup, people act like Plus is giving people more. When in reality it's just holding stuff back from the freeloaders(and I don't mean that as an insult. I don't blame people for not paying).

I am not a XBL Gold Member but a day one US Plus subscriber and I've been disappointed. He is right the US content has been rubbish. I actually like the EU content and quantity much more.
No because you are getting a $60 game. If you are buying a game for a beta that is your choice but I would hope you would be buying it for the game.
I didn't buy Infamous for the Uncharted beta, but it was a nice bonus, same with the Halo beta.
Btw - I am a US Plus member and I will not be renewing if it continues to be as poor as its been. EU Plus seems to be much better with quality and quantity of content that I like.
