I dont knock the shooting mechanics they're very good, but they've anchored this series for so long now it is just stale.
I expect another military shooter running at 60 fps with a co-op mode and no major improvements to competitive mp. A.K.A the same shit they release every year.
Konami are the ones in trouble. They cant make a good castlevania game to save their lives and all they have left PES. A company does not survive solely off PES lol
They will remotely destroy your vita while your using it,a la GTA V lol

I believe one of the original trailers insinuated that all games would be cross-save, basically that you could play any game on your home console and continue it anywhere on the vita.

I never understood the need for them either, until bloodborne, which i find myself playing with vg24/7's full walkthrough open at all times lol
lol a child can watch a rated R movie if their parent buys the ticket, but they cant play a rated M game their parent bought for them. The rating system is about consent, not hard boundaries.
Horde mode was revolutionary when it came out, I would love to relive that. Every game had to throw in some sort of wave defense mode after Gears 2.

You can also look up how to run stright to the first boss. Atleast engaging with him the first time unlocks the doll in the hunters dream where you upgrade your character.
He's not to far away but its a bit tricky
I had same problem, dont be discouraged. I literally spent over 7 hours in the first area before beating the first boss.
Some hopefully helpful tips
Stick to shooting and using R1 for most of your attacks you wanna hit the enemy quick, rather than rely on dodging if your struggling atm.
Start farming henchman a bit (the other dudes with blades,torches etc) and use the echoes in the hunter's dream to buy the first armor set, repair your wea...
This game is pretty insanely difficult coming from a "souls virgin". Took me 7+ hours to progress through first area and the cleric beast. The upgrade loop of blood echoes/buy armor/upgrade weapon/upgrade character was not clear at all from the beginning.

Not sure what that means. I know for threaded cane atleast you need 3 blood stone shards and 200 blood echoes for first upgrade. Maybe you dont have the shards yet, which you find in the world and from enemies. either way remember to repair for now so you do enough damage. Also, buy the availible armor set asap and reach the cleric beast if you havent, because doing so unlocks the ability to upgrade your character.
I had the same problem!! Your not getting weaker and the enemies arent getting stronger, your weapon is deteriorating. Go to the workbench in the house inside the hunter's dream and see how much you need to fortify your weapon. That repairs it and upgrades it

dick response. Very few people actually have the game and fewer have put impressions online. I saw that article plus another user make the same complaint, so i think its ok to ask how his experience differs.
Im waiting for that game to go on sale for 5-10 dollars, I know its coming! Played it on 360 but it definitely warrants a second playthrough
15-25 sounds great compared to some recent reports. Are you playing post patch?
