I really liked Carbon on the psp it was fun
Lol well said. Kojima and del toro can do whatever they want now. i meant it wouldve cost konami a lot of money to pay both of them and give them dev teams for AAA games
My Gamestop rarely does midnight releases. They told me its all based on pre-order numbers.
"Death"... so over-dramatic. AAA games cost a lot to make and Konami is in the business of making money, not loosing it over kojima and del toro
This is why you dnt announce a game until you know its ready. Publishers and devs are starting to realize that stringing people along for years has no real benefit.
Makes sense considering konami ddnt put a console PES game on their most recent financial forcast
500mb is an absolutely great sign, that's what i call a finished game. AC unity patches took up more memory than an average game's install size.
I'm sure it'll play better in 60fps, but that was weird to watch. Very twitchy.
I thought that article about too many devs working on this game was silly. This is a huge AAA console MMO which Ubisoft plans to maintain as a persistent online platform. It's their world of warcraft. Of course you'd expect multiple dev teams working on this game pre and post release. Is it that crazy for Massive to make the game while RedStorm designs the guns and Annecy works presumably on UI and online functionality?
Any leaks from alpha and beta testers this year have been really positive. Open World Games reported alpha testers are convinced the game is coming this year according to its current state. Also, The division will supposedly be a continuous platform not a sequel fest like destiny, which means more staff for the remainder of its lifespan not just pre-release
i think its different for us than a japanese consumer. over there its just a company that will stop doing one of a few things. Sony and everyone else has chopped triple A support for vita so its not too surprisig for konami to do it.
Definitely to throw us off the dev team visited boston a few years ago
Konami will be the world's greatest slot-machine/gym producers. If gaming is potentially their least profitable division, why stick with it?
NOTE: Watched the gameovergreggy show recently and the guest from gamespot said he talked to Sean from hello games and Sean said they are actively getting out of the public eye for now. The game will not be done this year and they dont want to keep it in the public sphere and get peoples hopes up for a 2015 release.
@crimzon
Why does the guitar hero look bland and soulless? Its completely different than the rest of the series. And SSX was nit a great reboot they got away from the over the top arcadiness that made the series great.
Did you say advanced warfare was inspired by titanfall? It was in development years before titanfall was announced.
Final graphics are probably not gonna be quite that clean, anti-aliasing is very taxing on an online heavy game like BF4. The most recent trailer is running with MSAA x8.
If DICE actually release it at 60fps like they announced on twitter, it will definitely not have that level of anti-aliasing and other effects.
But its nice to finally see it from the in-game perspective, looks epic
I think UC2 multiplayer was way better
We are still 7 months from the release date i think its ok to not show gameplay yet. Its the first ever full trailer and they atleast showed behind-closed-doors gameplay depicting the same scene from the trailer, so the previews are relevant to us. Who unveils a game to the public with pre-alpha gameplay?
This seems odd. You either announce a game early and bring fans along for the ride, like bioware with the next mass effect, or you dnt announce a game until you are ready to talk about it and give fans consistent info. CD Projekt red is stuck somewhere in between.
