Shipped or sold?, PS3 figures tie up with other analyst who said it would be a bad 2007 but 2008 will be good.
As a lot of 360's are replaced as i have has 2 swapped out so its fact that if the figures are shipped 10% needs knocking off.
Difference is with Warhawk you are not paying $50 a year for the privelage.
Think they have managed to brush the red ring under the carpet with the warrenty. I have had 2 new replacement which questions the sales shipped figure. PS3 is fit and healthy.
Don't think sony will have a good xmas even with all these titles but next year will be huge for them.
They should bring one out without a drive so consumers can pick what they want. $350
You can buy a Fujitsu 160gig drive for about $80 and it takes minutes to fit.
This technology for godsake it drops in price "FACT". Buy the latest PC and you will lose $500 in 6 mths. Anybody who bought a HD tv 12 mths ago will be out of pocket and buy one now and the next year it will be 25% cheaper.

1,50% of PS3 owners don't know they have a bluray player. This is now been resolved but it took them time.
2,How many PS3 owner look shocked when you say you have a 160gig version and it only cost $80 and did not invalidate you warrenty.
3,Multi media function via simple clear adverts. Eisa winner media hub of the year.
why are sony not going in hard with the sell and going at microsoft core. If you own a console for 5 years and want to play online the PS3 is free and the 360 will work out at $250 over the 5 years.
That make the PS3 a lot cheaper.
This needs pushing at the selling point as MS don't put it on the box clearly so by the time you work out what silver give you you can't take it back and have to pay your $50.

This is the best thing what could happen to Halo. Halo 4 might actually be a HD game and not run at 640.(thought MS had rules on that)

next xbox would be slightly improved and you pay what they say, the dashboard updates would cost you and you will be force to change every few year or they drop support. The glitches you would have to put up with.

Seriously lets be real 11 million consoles in 2 years, the PS3 has not even started yet. Halo 3 is huge in america, biggish in europe and Japan won't even know it is there.

I remember this time last year when i was still playing 10fps motogp 06 hoping gears of war was not delayed. But then it was out and 3 red rings finally I got it back and was finally impressed 12 mths after release.

But Perfect 10 for last appeal mmmh. HYPE HYPE here's a million. A perfect 10 is when a game that come with single and multiplayer gives you that and they admit it does not. If its just multiplayer you can give it a 10.

Bit of a bad comparison as nintendo selling the gamecube off the n64 which was not exactly a success.
Xbox never got japan and this is the big downer for the 360 on hitting the what the PS2 did. everyone goes on about halo 3 but xbox had halo 1 and 2 and failed.
Sony will have a bad XMAS then start to really sell march time when the big games come out and the bluray war nears its end.
