I only watch 2 minutes of this video.. maybe I missed something from not watching the entirety; however, you can't really do a proper "comparison" when you are showing different parts of a game or maybe even different spells..
We don't know the portion where she is looking over the cloud filled landscape is not still in the game - just elsewhere.
I did notice some obvious differences, but it happens with a lot of games. I still think it...
Nothing is stopping other companies forming or creating new IPs strictly for Sony. It's not really all that troubling.. people are overreacting. There are always new studios popping up, talent leading to other studios, etc.
The only thing changing is MS acquiring new studios, staff and current IPs. We know nothing of exclusivity.
Activision-Blizzard are the 6th largest publisher, in terms of revenue.. with Sony in 1st. In fact, Microsoft and AB together, are still behind Sony in terms of revenue.
Any exclusives are only good for that particular brand and customers. That's the whole point.. there's still hundreds of developers out there with their hundreds of IPs. It bolsters the competition more than it harms it - at this point.
Everton, that's the nice thing about GP.. I've tried soooo many games, I would've never tried before, if I didn't have GP.
Brink was pretty cool; I wouldn't mind trying another stab at that game. I always liked Too Human, as well. That could have been so much better.. it had some cool mechanics.
But, are those not all true statements?
Explain, how so?
Lordofthecritics - It's no where near the same; that's an asinine thought process. MS is nowhere near a monopoly. Sony has been far closer, with the PS2 and its sales numbers, than any other company - or system.
They may have some games locked up but it doesn't prevent people leaving, forming new companies and creating something similar for PlayStation. Sony owns market share in almost every major gaming country in the world, except maybe the United States.
LordoftheCritics - Your example is nothing like the situation, here. It's a laughable example, at best.
Your example states a company buying ALL of the competition, then forcing an agenda. All that is happening here, is like Facebook buying Twitter. There are still multiple other competitive social media apps out there. It's the same here with MS. MS wants one company.. Acti-Blizz. MS isn't buying Sony and Nintendo. We still have Ubisoft, Sony, EA, TakeTwo, Nin...
Hopefully I can just install some of the Xbox Gamepass games straight to my phone.. that'd be much better and preferable to streaming them.
Are you saying they aren't, in this scenario?
Only thing I want is.. a release date.
What's funny, off topic a bit, is that everyone complained for years for MS to get some games, always saying "Where's the games!?" Now they are getting some and everyone is mad and bitter. They jumped the gun and bought some existing companies, with their own studios, and several IPs instead of building from scratcy.. All of these game studios could build upon those several IPs or go on and create all new IPs.
It's just sad that everyone thinks this is...
BOOM! Goes the dynamite. Drop the mic.
But, seriously, why does Brazil and other countries have a say if this passes? Aren't they both American companies? What if other countries say no to the purchase? Does it go by majority vote if the sale goes through?
I don't know how this works, lol.
Was a great game with some damn good systems in place. Bummer that the Nemisis system is locked to WB?! I didn't know that - can other companies use the system and pay royalties? Or can no one else use it at all, without permission, I assume?
Is it only for the newest controller; the white xbox elite 2? I'm not a huge fan of white accessories.
No one complained when Sony had the majority of the developers in their pocket, making exclusives for the PS1-PS4.
Besides, these companies don't have to agree to be bought by Microsoft. Also, developers leave studios all of the time; it's not like a lot of them can't leave Acti/Blizz/Bethesda and start their own thing as an independent studio..
Sony could and should just build a studio or assign one of their studios to replace COD.
Tay8701 - I think you are a fool, if you believe that. There will be numerous amounts of people who will switch to the Xbox to play Cod. No doubt about it. Especially if the games pick up in quality, due to MS backing. Online players typically want to play games with their friends - loyalty, it's not a thing to some plastic game box.
Definitely wanting to try this one. I was disappointed to find out I couldn't play it at midnight and instead have to wait til 7PM today.
