shinoff2183 - It's not really that different; let's be honest. There are very few games many people would wait a year for. There are sooo many games that get released every year, I've such a large backlog already that it's hard to get to all of them. Not to mention, after waiting a year.. all the spoilers are already out there, good luck avoiding them.

Personally, I would love to see Obsidian work on a new Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic sequel (or a number III anyway). Seems like Disney is now allowing more than just EA to make Star Wars games, so that's what I really love to see Obsidian do.
I don't know why they would need to give any of their franchises to another studio. They are now backed by Microsoft, seems like they should just be able to expand their own studios, hire more employees and create more games simultaneously. Offset them slightly and release a different one every year.
They 'should' be already having a group work on the next Elder Scrolls and the next Fallout. But, who knows if that'll actually happen..

Idk, I know there will be a ton of haters out there; however, I think it looks fantastic and brilliant. I wasn't sold on the gunplay the first time around but I feel like it will be much better than originally anticipated, after watching this video.

@CS7 - Not necessarily. If Insomniac wanted to create the game as a co-op experience, then they would create a story that works for playing co-op. It's not simply "Okay, here's the story - now make it co-op." It wouldn't make sense to create a co-op experience where they completely separate the characters - not usually, anyway.
But, even if they did, like someone said above "Venom captures Spiderman," they could do something like the Miles p...
Yeah, as RauLe said.. just add an option near the flag or by the reply button to see what the edited changed are. Simply just add a button to see all edits on that comment; should take care of any 'conversational' issues.
@bloop - Agreed.. especially on the mobile experience. It really is a drag and makes me hate visiting the website when all I have is my phone. The other ads I don't care about - it's just the floating ones in the bottom right. They don't work and are just simply in the way; very frustrating.
Not that I disagree; but, does this stuff not also happen in Japan? Buying Sony and Ninty just because they are Japanese brands, rather than an Xbox because it's an American brand?

Some of the issues surrounding this game are, in my opinion, mild.. I just don't really care about most of it. 30 FPS, whatever, we'll see. I'll still download it and try it. 🤷

Can someone that knows better than I do, how all of this works? Why do so many countries have to approve or deny the merger/buyout? What happens if more than half approve? Do they have to have so many approve before it can be pushed through?

Idk, I just don't see the monopoly part of it.. There are still so many big publishers out there (EA, Ubi, T2, etc), tons of developers and they are admittingly in last place, behind Sony and Nintendo. So they are buying, what, 3 more studios?
Sony has a lot of stagnant IP's they could create to counter Call of Duty, I don't think much would change on either side.
