Nice attitude.
I'm pretty sure it will work as shooters are one of the main reasons why someone would buy a 360. However, they will have to add an accessory as I can't see how this could be done within a minimum precision standard with the hardware they showed.
This game already looks pretty good in 480p. At 720p, the jagged edges are nowhere to be seen and the models look much better. All of that with no increase in polygons count. I can see how a modest Wii graphic card upgrade could do great things in the overall quality of the games and I can even buy some analysts predictions that Nintendo will release a Wii Plus version of the console with hd graphics.
It is a nice feature. However, I am sad I've been spoiled. It would be much more fun not know this in advance.
If so, why my mom wants to buy a Wii for herself whereas she probably have no idea of a XBox is?
I was surprised to read a well written piece of intelligent game journalism. Even if you disagree with the author, it is nice to see some change for better.
I agree. I think we will see a new Nintendo portable system first and I don't expect it before 2011.
Galaxy is 3D and, thus, more difficult to play to people not used to videogames. New Super Mario Bros. will be 2.5D, and thus easier to grasp, similar to a popular game in the DS, nostalgic, and with local multiplayer. I say it will sell more than 10 million copies in the first year and will keep selling as long as the Wii stays in the market.
Looks ok but I already have Mario Strikers Charged for my arcade football needs.
It seems the author fails to recognize Prince of Persia has a smart checkpoint system that actually keeps the game fluid by avoiding death and loading screens.
I doubt voice acting is actually a big proportion of the budget, even when talking about real talented actors such as Oldman and Sutherland. However, if they want to save money in this then, please, pull a Nintendo and make your characters silent, as I can't stand the awful acting of the games of the past.
Wishful thinking.
A pretty obvious match to the balance board. I wonder why the took so much time to make it.
I brought mine to play Gram Slam Tennis and I am pretty sure I am not alone in being a gamer who is also a tennis fan. Not to mention the golfers who are buying Tiger 10 bundle.
I like the graphic style but, after playing PES Wii, is hard to return to the more traditional football videogame.
It is a rpg game and thus requires a lot of time to finish. Those who are liking it will only write a review after finishing it in a week or so. Those who doesn't like it are writing the review right now.
There is nothing as immature than so called mature gaming. Unless you consider mature gaming journalism to be actually something worthy of reading.
Good review. Except for the part the reviewer complain that tossing a grenade will move your aim. This seems very realistic to me and, if you don't like it, you can change it.
I am sure it can be done and can even looks good, within the WIi capabilities. I am not sure Capcom is up to the task, though.
I was excited by Heavy Rain once but I'm not so sure now. Cut scenes, textures, lighting all look great but character movement is very unrealistic. Also, I'm not sure if the story will actually resonate in an emotional level. Designers are try to create an interactive movie, but I'm not sure how much improvement interaction will add to the story. Usually, movies do a much better job telling a linear story. Finally, this game should very low re-playability, so I'll rent but not purchase it.
