yeah sure it is...
I totally agree with this article - I think alot of the reviews that are coming out have possibly not given the game the play time it deserves. It took 5 years to make, at least show the people at Polyphony some respect after all the hard work they have put into it and give it a proper play through. Also there is no way they couldve given the online mode much of go..
this gets as good a score as some sites are giving gt5..
As expected on a game this high profile, review sites are ripping it apart and criticising it for every little minor flaw.. From what i can see it still looks amazing.. Will be buying today
All i would say is that i think its unfair to review a game when the online component is not running at full steam. Also whats wrong with GT5 being built for GT fans and just for them.. er...?
I agree with TLG - Also Harmonix have come so far and have not ever received the proper recognition for what they do. Frequency, Amplitude and the original Guitar Hero were ground breaking titles and changed the industry for the better.. From what i have seen of RB3 they have finally nailed the formula, the game looks polished and the new more precise peripherals look like a lot of fun. And thats what gamings about boys and girls..
This is purely because of the fanbase that modern warfare established.. Activision know they can churn out a new call of duty (be it MW3 or BO2) every year now for at least another 2-3 years and still see massive sales each time. They are a business after all and very successful one at that. Its us idiot consumers that just lap it up each time..
Americans sure do like their military fpseses..
Whether we like it or not 3D is here to stay. Once glasses-less TVs start to hit their stride 3D will begin mass market penetration (oo-er)
However i think the "older" generation of parents still see video games as games for kiddies. Someone needs to educate these guys..
Cs has been doing this shit for years. In fact cs is probably a better game lol. I own mw and mw2 and I must say I'm starting to get a little bored now.. Maybe the zombies will help?
A game could be 8 hours long and terrible...
..and footprints in snow look nice
Modern console GPU and CPUs are soldered straight to the motherboard (as opposed to PCs that have pins etc) The YLOD mainly occurs because of the GPU being continually heated up and cooled down over a long period of time - After some time microscopic cracks appear in the solder causing the processor not to function. I have taken my own PS3 to be repaired (£60), they have re-flowed, fitted better cooling fan and the problem has not re-occurred after almost 9 months of solid use.
lol you must know what i mean though - Have you ever seen cars in real life racing along with all their doors flapping around like that? It just looks silly..
Kazunori Yamauchi please please please sort out the flapping door thing before release! Its like youre playing grand theft auto or something!
The people in the reflections in this video as it is loading are moving in slow motion..
Just because a game is successful does that mean you can just start charging a monthly subscription to play it?? Maybe in the future when the business model is different for this type of product but for now when we have paid out £44-99 for a game and more on top for map packs etc i just think they would be taking the pi$$ if they ever tried this.
Considering how many units they have shifted of MW i think Activision would be extremely greedy if they ever try to adopt this approach...
What does that even mean? Thats pretty lame of patcher i think.. Thats basically like saying some will, some wont.. but hes not sure (???)
Pachter used to know what was going on..
Okaaaaay.. so.er... Sly collection gets 87/100 and GT5 gets 77/100 - Thats practically the same score as Harry potter Deathly hallows!!(75/100) wow.. just wow..
