Most will have bought the Borderlands handsome collection on one of the 2 million & 4 times it's been on sale recently I would imagine
Charging for games inside of dreams will kill it for me. I don't buy into microtransactions and DLC, this won't make me feel any different
The most excited people seem to get for the franchise is when they announce it as a Gen 1 game in some form. (Lets Go, X & Y for example) That says volumes to me.
I personally think they've played it too safe over the years and should have leaped into the full 3D world years ago when they were begged for it.
Either which way though I guess they do alright because each entry sells really well over time
EA's game library has gotten so weak that it really isn't worth it. Even if you did want to try out one or two of the titles on there like dragon age or something. They regularly sell for less than a months subscription price anyway
This is something I've over looked but will definitely try now
My curiosity got the better of me so I clicked the link (I should have checked the domain name before doing so really). I can't believe there's even a review template to follow on these games. There's something genuinely disturbing about the amount of these games showing up in N4G headlines as of lately.
Fable 2 was an amazing game. It was quite possible the most disappointing ending to any game I ever played but it was so much fun up to that point.
I didn't enjoy 3 as much though. Legends looked terrible.
I'd be very curious to see playground games take on it if the rumours are true
I wouldn't say dead but definitely not near as exciting.
I'm in Europe so the event involves staying up to all hours to view. Sony were always my favourite. However with them out of the picture and Nintendo doing Directs instead of a stage show I'm not going to book the following day off and stay up this year. I'll just watch the Xbox conference at breakfast or lunch.
I'm still going to watch it and look forward to it in some capacity...
Resi 3 seems obvious but one of these titles better be Dino Crisis
That was a nice read. I'll be keeping an eye on this site for a while now.
Sick of IGN splitting 1 game of thrones write up into 10 different articles, Gamespot splitting hairs when it comes to visuals of a game on different platforms and Kotaku worrying about what label society has given some meaningless tripe today.
It's hard to come by a decent game website these days. It's nice to see someone step back into the old formula and just get som...
You had me worried that Halo Wars 2 was about to be taken off, but the list is fairly meh anyway so no loss.
It's the typical Xbox response to everything.
I've yet to see it pay off
The accessibility controller. That's all the credit he gets from me.
I'll never understand timed DLC exclusives. Such a stupid practice
The blue collar folk who work as hard as anyone else to earn the almighty dollar to pay for this entertainment deserve as much respect as the developers. They say don't bite the hand that feeds. This poor man just didn't realise it's the public leadership that feeds not the developer relationship.
I'm not sure what he was trying to achieve with this article, be it a pat on the back or whatever but I think he'll find his naivety got the better of him
Famitsu has a great idea with its 4 opinions. Other review sites should have this structure. One of them could be a brief review from someone who doesn't have any inclination towards such games, That maybe doesn't count towards the overall average score.
I actually read the article just to try and give this guy some opportunity to explain himself, over what has to be one of the most self destructive headlines I've seen in a long time.
I can see the point he is trying to make but it goes against everything a review should be. Publications are supposed to be professionals with a duty to their readership to be honest and fair.
This is a Bizzare declaration by a writer to deny that they'll ever abide by that.
I mean he could easily spend more time in 3 days on a game than I would in a week or 2.
And I could certainly give you an opinion on a game I'm playing within that time. Maybe not a review but definitely my overall impressions
I haven't booked the following day off work so I can stay up all night watching it either. First time in about a decade. I'll just watch MS the next day and the Nintendo Direct. Not staying up all night for it
I don't know if I'm getting old or what but that list is just not doing anything for me to build hype.
Cyberpunk would but CD Projekt Red already stated the demo will not be streamed live nor uploaded online later, so who cares then?!
I look forward to seeing Star Wars Gameplay and getting more info on Doom Eternal and Avengers but that's probably all from this list.
