Anyone who adopts an 8k tv this year or next will regret it. It's always the same with new tech like that. 1st iterations are left behind quickly.
Just look at 4K for example and how quickly HDR became a huge factor
I don't even care if the next Xbox is twice the power of the PS5. Microsoft are going out this gen on a whimper and they failed to truly impress the entirety of the Xbox Ones life cycle. There's no way I'd support them next gen after that shambles.
I mean, that would go a long way on trying to sell a next gen machine!
Proving yet again Microsoft can make a beast of a machine but haven't a clue what to do with it.
I agree entirely! I cringed when I saw the dynamax feature. I was fairly on board with sword and shield to that point
I have Ni No Kuni 2 but yet to play it. They did change the entire battle mechanic though.
Ni No Kuni was incredible. It was exactly what I'd hoped Pokemon would have progressed into a decade ago
It Is commonly understood that Microsoft lack story driven, single player games sorely.
So when they acquire a studio world renown for making great and impactful single player games you can forgive the masses for rolling their eyes when that studio announces it's making an online multiplayer hero game.
It doesn't help shake the image of Microsoft only being interested in games as a service junk
The reaction will only get worse if this does turn out to be that game. You think it's bad now, just wait until the masses found out Ninja Theory made a single player game into a squad online multiplayer one under Microsoft's acquisition.
Shit meet fan
I'm in it for Fable and Gears, not much of a Halo fan
Rocksteady have always had a very strong relationship with Sony. Maybe their new game announcement is being held for playstations next event?
Ah lads! Nearly 250 comments and not 1 person has cracked a joke about it not being suitable for Anal usage - side effects include Red Ring of Death!
Maybe this will cure the smell of any CEX I've ever been too 😂
I'm delighted this is hitting consoles
I forced myself to finish the first one, it was one of the biggest disappointments this entire generation for me. However due to an Amazon screw up I got Watch Dogs 2 for free and enjoyed it far more than the first (despite some extremely annoying characters)
I was about to say the same thing. I also wish it was the first time I had seen the English language butchered in a gaming headline to the same effect.
I remember this on Kickstarter. It looks great
Yeah I feel like this should be a given and not need an article
A Call of Duty game with 10 vs 10 sounds a lot more hectic than Battlefield though. BF has maps designed to accommodate that player count. CoD has always had smaller tighter maps with twitch shooting and constant spawn points switching.
Nintendo gets my vote
