I see your point....but to me, bringing that demographic in has yet to add anything to gaming as a whole. All they are doing is bringing in consumers, which has yet to have a significant impact for the whole market. All that's happening is more shovel ware being spewed out.
Wow, I assume you know the exact pricing for Move then? Cmon, you should know that most bundles don't add the separate costs together.....that would defeat the purpose of the bundle. And your math is flawed.... 40+60+25+85 does not equal 185, it equals 210. If you want to make a point, make sure you are right first.
The only reason I am approving this is to see people's reactions. I don't quite agree with the 360 and Wii being on there as neither of them have really contributed to gaming as a whole. Don't start saying anything about Xbox Live, it really hasn't revolutionized gaming in any way. And notice I said 'GAMING'. All the Wii accomplished was to sucker a bunch of people into the motion controller craze. IMO all motion controllers are gimmicks, including Natal and Move....
that you can buy FFVII on the PSN for $10. o, and you can play it on either your PS3 or PSP.
is gameplay of Agent and Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Sure, it would be awesome to see R3, Uncharted 3, LBP 2, etc. but those are already proven franchises. I want to see something new.
At first I was like, 3D is a waste of a perfectly good dimension? YOU LIVE IN 3D SPACE! But then I read his article. It was about Stereoscopic 3D that is used in movies such as Avatar, Clash of the Titans, Alive in Wonderland, etc. I have to agree that I am not particularly fond of this technology. I have worked as a Projectionist for the past 2 years and I can say that %100 of the time, I enjoyed the 2D versions of the movies more than the 3D. Less headaches, action sequences are clear...
Posting an article is one thing, showing the inside workings of the product is another.
While I think that Flash should be supported by Apple since the majority of the WWW is made up of it, HTML 5 will take over. Actionscript is an interesting language as in, half the time you are creating loop holes to make what you want to work. HTML 5 just makes sense and works the same no matter what. Also, Javascript can allow you to do most of the cool things you see in flash websites. It's a fabulous open-source site called Scriptaculous.
You obviously don't have an iPhone. There is no such thing as a battery cover on them. He even states on his article that he disassembled the iPhone. Here's a pic for your viewing pleasure.

It's one thing to report that you have found the new prototype iPhone, it's another thing if you dissect this object and report confidential material to the public.
Let's say you find a Credit Card on the side walk, you should report that you found this item, or give it to the proper authorities. But instead you buy stuff with this credit card. You will be charged with theft. Sure, it's the person's fault for dropping his/her credit card, but it doesn't make your actions rig...
I might take Balmer seriously when he stops using "big fat gaming thing" as an expression for a controller.
who wants to take Activision's side now?
but I haven't seen any moment where Famitsu lost it's credibility. Or people, except fanboys, saying that it has. Sure, they generally give higher scores overall than most sites, but it's their opinion. I don't think it's nearly as extreme as you are trying to make it Natsu.
They seem pretty happy about leaving 73 people jobless. I'm sure they are trying to get some extra funds by cutting costs, but they could be a little more discreet about their joy.
it's going to be the FFIX release date in NA. It is the most recent in Square news and would make sense for Square Enix USA to announce.
You know that Splinter Cell being a better game is completely your opinion. Something being better than another thing when applied to 2 great games is something we call "subjectivity". It's your opinion, and I respect that. Just don't treat other people as morons because they think MGS4 is better. Personally, IMO I enjoy MGS4 better in it's entirety. I agree Splinter Cell has better stealth mechanics, but the story has less depth to it than MGS4.
I did mean somewhat sarcastically. In no way did I mean that people have that kind of cash floating around. I was more venting my frustrations with morons who keep on saying that Sony owes them an apology or cash money. There is legitimate frustration from people who weren't doing anything bad with it, but overall, Sony has a legitimate risk from the feature.
People are freaking out on Sony, but if it weren't for the stupidity of hackers, we would still have the feature.
*On the article* What annoys me is that this guy is saying how Sony should refund Online Retailers and such for returns of PS3's without this feature... You couldn't buy a new PS3 with the Other OS even before this update. PS3 slim had this already removed. idk, it just bugs me that this man thinks that Sony owes anyone anything at all.. It's not they are for...
all you want about how many of those games are shovelware, but Apple is making a killing off of them. Every developer kit costs $100, then they get a certain percentage off of each app. You guys can try to dis them, but they are making more money than any of us could imagine. And like you mentioned, a lot of the DS titles are shovelware, as is the majority of Wii games......look at how they are doing. See a trend?
Of what? All I said is that IMO all motion controllers are gimmicks. How does that make me a fanboy? I think people are starting to use the word 'fanboy' anytime they don't agree with someone.
