I think that statement is the most important. He obviously needs help in the form of proper counseling and treatment. My brother went through periods of severe depression and anxiety... really scary stuff that causes the person suffering to think they have no way out other than to throw themselves into bad habits or worse. I hope he gets the right kind of help to figure out coping mechanisms or figure out the root cause.
It was never the case. Sony came out the next day saying that their deal was only to cover basic publishing costs for the PS4 port + cover marketing. They aren't paying for development.
Funny enough, there is an anime that just aired that deals with censorship and the idea of a country banning all perverted things :P

This is getting ridiculous. Sony was never asking for money to fund it, it was all Yu Suzuki. If you are really curious about it, read for yourself here:

These articles lack current information and lead to more misunderstanding. Yes, there could have been more clarity, but the fact that these articles are still written after things hav...
So it's basically a horde mode. That is always fun, I just hope that they add something more to it that makes it interesting for a longer period of time.
Normally I would agree, but in this case it makes sense for the following reasons:
1. Game comes out before the movie, they don't want to provide spoilers
2. Great promotion to keep long-term interest in the game alive by allowing you to play the most reason arc in the story
3. It's free – they won't charge you for it (announced during the celebration)
@Khajiit86
China owns about 7.2% of our debt which really isn't that much. Japan owns about 7%. In total, foreign countries own a total of 34.4% of the US National Debt while the rest is owed to domestic holders. All of those statements that China somehow owns the US are grossly exaggerated.
In terms of economic power, it's up in the air of who the #1 is since China falsely inflates their currency to keep cost artificially low. This leads to factori...
And your lvl determines what equipment you get... so it is lvl based in some regards
I'm sure they'll raise the level cap once too many people reach it. I'm guessing it will be an MMO type approach.
Step 1: Capture Points (the more control points you have, the more points you get per kill)
Step 2: Kill people.... the easiest way? Aim for the head to cause more damage or if you are close range, use the shotgun for a 1-hit kill.
Step 3: Look at your radar ALL THE TIME! It shows you where the enemies are coming from as well as their proximity to you.
Step 4: Don't die.... jump around and hide behind corners!
I honestly can't see them pricing PS Now at $20 a month... that would be such a hard sell. $15 maybe since that is what most MMOs are at, but nothing higher than that.
Mine came from Amazon and it works amazing. Playing for 3+ hours at a time and no problems. So I wouldn't say it is the retailer's fault if there are issues.
I think TGS is too close to the release time frame. They can do whatever they want, but I would announce a release date at Gamescom and then BLOW their minds at TGS with some last minute launch game title announcements.
It's similar in the sense that you can create almost any game type you can imagine if you have the capability to. The difference though is that Project Spark allows you slightly more freedom since you aren't tied to the 2.5D universe that LBP lives in. And I am pretty sure that it will be easier to make different game types.
The most likely answer is the reveal of the release date for PS4. Saw it in the comments on IGN. "When World's Collide" = our world with the PS4 world. There is a hybrid eclipse happening on November 3rd which would match up with rumors of the PS4 release. Anyways, only time will tell
TL;DR - Double Fine has been transparent always... Development always runs over-budget and over-time... Kickstarter is for funding projects, not buying a product... if you want to follow the development, go to the backer's forum

Overall pretty disappointing. It had a good start with Halo 4, Gears of War, and Splinter Cell... but then it just fell off a cliff turning into a very mediocre press conference. Nothing really surprising or exciting.
Well, when I was in High School... a 92% was considered a B+
I don't want a B+ Game.. I want a solid A!
/S
But in all seriousness, people are freaking out too much! 94 is a great score and proves that Naughty Dog still has it! I mean, seriously... UC2 got so many perfect scores, it would be hard for UC3 to really beat it.
That was awesome, wish I lived near a beach! (not in the middle of the midwest) :P
That's what happens when you allow pre-adolescent/teenage kids name things in video games. UGC (user generated content) is always a tricky ordeal. Like he said, they'll catch the obvious stuff and moderate it but users will always figure out how to get something through the system.
